V I P Full Service Salon in Harlingen, TX

I went there to get my hair (shoulder length). and Julia did not nkow what She was doing. She also said that is be 30 min job and it 55 min. Make Me miss my bus to Mexico. She gave Me a GROCERY BAG to cover my hair. I and umbrella with and shower cover on my car. THE CURLS LASTED 2 hrs only. I spent $70 plus the bus fare because I lost the bus for nothin. I would rather for Her to that She could not do it under 30 minute. Worst curls ever

I've tried different hair salons in the valley since moving here from NYC, but VIP has definitely been the best experience!!

I came for a hair cut after being referred by a friend who raved about the work and prices. After my simple haircut I was charged $125. I was not informed that I was also going to be charged $35 to straighten my "extra long" hair even though I just got 6 inches cut off to my shoulders. If that was the case I could've went home and done that myself for free. I talked to the friend after I walked out because I felt ripped off and she informed me that the same service only cost her $40 and that when her and her boyfriend went they spent $100 total and even got a relaxer. I believe they make the prices up as they go and make it different for every client. Highly not impressed and would not recommend for that reason alone. That is not how you treat customers, you'd like to return.

I am so grateful for VIP my mom had eye surgery and needed extra care, patience and a very clean salon to have her hair, wash, style and trim. Looking for a Clean salon following all the Covid regulations required by Texas, is hard to find in Harlingen/ RGV. We drive from McAllen and Dr. Haggins was awesome. Her professionalism and high standards was exactly what I was looking for! We made an appointment. Upon arrival we had our temp taken, everyone was wearing a N95 mask. Her products were amazing and paraben free. This is an upscale salon, having traveled all over the world, this a fantastic spot, much better then the JCP Salon so many people think that's upscale here. If you are looking for a quick cheap do then don't come here go to a dirty salon down the street there are so many places here that are not up to code. If you want a clean professional spot with high standards and excellent products. Invest your moment in your health and your hair, VIP Salon is a perfect spot.

The place is amazing love the atmosphere ms .h was wonderful enjoyed talking to her. But my issue was no price for cuts were in site I was sent by a buddy of mine since I moved down here. The cutz are pricey and so is the the products I came here expecting to spend 25$ on a hair cut cause that's what I was told it would be walked out paying a little over 50$ for it and I mean the products are abit pricey too i didn't want to say no thinking maybe 20$ at most but was wrong again. I did get nicked a few in the back but overall it was a good experience just really pricey dont mean to be negative but people here at vip know what there doing. Just felt a little ripped off at the end of the day.
