Urban Society Salon in Carmel, IN

I love coming to Urban Society Salon! The gals here are so fun! Paige is excellent, every visit starts with a consultation to make sure we are both on the same page and I really appreciate how she educates her clients. Paige and her fellow stylists are very thorough about going over best practices and maintenance levels for different styles, which is huge for me! Listen to them and you'll look your best! In Paige We Trust!

100% recommend going to this Salon!! Paige has been my hair stylist for the past almost 7-8 years now and she is absolutely amazing. Not only is she the best at doing hair (cut and color) but she is one of the most genuine person I have ever met. She always makes you feel welcomed and special every time you go. Everyone that works in the salon is just as nice and amazing. It is such a friendly environment that I look forward going every time. She has been the only hair stylist that has been able to get my hair the color I want. She taught me how to take care of my hair, and If you follow her advice your hair will continue to look amazing even up to your next appointment. I could never imagine going anywhere else or having someone else do my hair. 10/10 salon, 10/10 on cut and color, 10/10 environment, 10/10 recommend!!!

It is with great sadness that I must post a negative review of Paige at Urban Society Salon in The Village of West Clay.  On Thursday, 9/15/22 I provided Paige with a picture of the hair color I was trying to achieve; no questions asked, no statements made other than how excited she was to do that color.  On 9/16/22 (12 hours after my appointment), I washed my hair for the first time and immediately texted Paige to let her know the color had faded and was uneven.  It was at that time I was told that I wash my hair too often, my hair was too blonde to take the color and that the permanent toner she used was only a "temporary fix".  Imagine to my surprise, and $220 later, that this was only a "temporary fix".  Why hasn't she told me that the color wasn't achievable before, or even during, my appointment?  If that were the case, I would have changed my course of action and stuck with my current color.  At this point, Paige has offered to recolor my hair, but because I am concerned about damage from over-processing, I requested full a refund, which she has denied.  It just surprises me, that as a long term client, Paige wouldn't stand behind her product and provide a refund when it is 100% warranted.  This was once an amazing salon, but in recent months the decline in service was apparent and I admit I stayed for convenience.  This was the icing on the cake and can't be ignored.  All future appointments have been canceled.

Paige and Taylor are both phenomenal!  Easy to work with, beautiful new location. They are both lovely people!

Great neighborhood business with two cool people cutting hair.  Would def recommend to get a good men's cut.
