Ulta Beauty in Fort Collins, CO

This establishment is a joke. As a company and this store. I don't frequent Ulta as I usually order online. However, I happened to be in the area for work and decided to stop by. When I walked in, there were a few associates standing around. No one greeted me verbally. They all hovered together and watched as I started browsing in the fragrance section. It wasn't until I actually picked up a tester to spray it and here comes Annie. Yes, that's her name. She asks me if I had any questions. I replied and asked her why didn't anyone speak to me or offer assistance when I first came in. She laughed nervously and said "we must've missed you coming in". Without any reluctance, I started walking towards the exit. There was no way I was spending my money there after being made to feel so uncomfortable. As I walk towards the door, Annie asks can she check my handbag as its policy when you don't purchase anything. I looked at her like she was crazy, laughed at the obnoxious request, and left. Ulta already has a notorious reputation for racial profiling, but I'd never personally had that experience until today. You would think after the lawsuits that some sort of diversity and inclusion training would be provided at this point. They apparently haven't made a conscious effort to grasp and understand the issue of racial equality. I'm sure there are "Annie's" at their other locations as well but based on my experience at this location it's easy to conclude that this is racist store that employs non-POC's who are comfortable with making select consumers uncomfortable. It's a shame.

Ulta has a new policy of no returns without the original packaging. Your receipt of purchase? That means nothing. I was told by the person working that it is a corporate policy because of rampant theft of testers. This makes no sense to me. Especially because I had a receipt.

And this is how Ulta lost my business forever. I guess lifetime value of a customer is not a consideration by their corporate office. No worries, Sephora is less than 0.1 miles away....

I scheduled a beauty salon haircut couple of weeks in advance. I received a call a few minutes before my appointment saying that they need it to reschedule my appointment because the person doing my haircut was running behind. I was already on my way there I left my job early for this appointment to be there. The least they could do is call you a day before or early morning to let you know. This has happened to me several times before. I schedule an appointment and last minute they call to cancel. So unprofessional will never come back to this location. Your service sucks! Do not reccommend this beauty salon to anyone else. Don't waste your time or money on them not worth your time. Ulta beauty in Fort Collins 4405 Corbett drive.

I made this appointment because I just had surgery and don't feel comfortable washing and drying my own hair yet; since the website specifically says that a wash is included I selected the curling option so that my hair would be washed and styled after when I arrived to the appointment she let me know that a wash was not in fact included I would have gladly paid extra for it but she didn't even have time to do it.

Even though we still cannot color match foundation the old fashion way-Grace helped and was super informative. She eyed the right shade and I could not be happier- bareminerals foundation is great!!
