Every time I go to get my hair done weather it be for cut or color, I get the best service. I always walk out of there with a smile. Friendly staff and very clean salon.

I've been getting my hair cut by Kim for years! Love her - she does any amazing job every time. She books up quickly so you have to schedule in advance. Salon is also clean and everyone there is really nice. Highly recommend for both men and women!

I am hoping this posts so no one has to go through the experience I had with this salon. I started going to the original Ty salon approximately 10 years ago when my stylist moved there from Salon Gregorie's which I liked. I actually followed that stylist there from Salon Gregorie's when she relocated so I assumed it was high end in terms of quality as she has very high standards. Suddenly, my hair stylist stopped working to take care of her 4 kids so I needed to find someone new. I did my best to research my options as I had no experience there with any other stylists there and had been satisfied. I decided on Leann and scheduled a haircut to get a feel for her skill level. She did an average job, as my hair is long and straight and I maintain a basic style. She was supposedly a color specialist and since I was also in need of highlights I scheduled an appointment with her when I needed another haircut. I went and told her exactly what I had been doing for over 20 years in terms of color as and just wanted to snap it back to that. However, what I go was beyond awful. It was hideous. I requested fine golden highlights as I had been getting but ended up chunks of copper penny colored streaks in random places and other parts completely not highlighted at all. Furthermore, I sustained a chemical burn spot on the top of my head and my hair was overall completely chemically damaged. When I realized how bad it actually turned out, I asked her to fix it and she refused. She did refund my money but when I asked the salon if someone else would do it, they ended up telling me that no one there was willing to try it. The damage done was worth far more the the refund of the money I paid and I should have sued both her and the salon for damages. I wish I had. Ultimately, I spent numerous months trying to get over my fear of going to anyone else as it was unbearably bad to the point I could not stand seeing myself. I finally just recently dared to try a totally different salon and the stylist I got there did a phenomenal job of getting me on the road back to normal. I say road as the damage was that severe and will require time to repair. I advise everyone to avoid that salon unless you know the stylist's skill level as if you get a terrible job they will not back it up . That salon is anything but Newport Beach quality service. A salon is only as good as its staff and its management. Both are completely lacking there now. I have been getting highlights for 30 years now and have had to change stylists and salons several times because of relocating only. Never in my life have I received such poor service in every regard. 0 stars by the way. Actually negative to infinity if I could.

Rosy is the BEST of the BEST! I was very skeptical when it came to my hair, due to previous experiences. However, it has now been a couple of sessions since I first booked with Rosy and never again will I go else where. Rosy is very flexible with scheduling and extremely sweet to say the least. I always leave the salon with the biggest smile and multiple compliments. She continues to go above and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend Rosy!

Rosy! Thank you so much for squeezing me in next day in your already packed schedule. It is so hard to find a new hair stylist but I am so grateful to have found you. My hair was in such bad condition but you made it beautiful again. Will be going to you exclusively from now on!
