Tulip Nails in Thomasville, NC

I dont recommend this nail salon, extremely impolite . I received at $350 microblading service and had a followup appointment 6 weeks later, I totally forgot. I called and she told me I missed the appointment , I asked Tee does she do appointment reminders she told me no, you should of put it in your phone. She was right I should have, but her response after I  paid $350 for a service was disrespectful. I have been a licensed hairstylist for over 27 years I would have never spoke to any of my clients in that manner. I will not be returning. And before she was disrespectful she gave me a follow up appointment 2 months out! DO NOT VISIT THIS SALON and expect friendly customer care.

I had an appointment for 1pm. As I entered,  I was approached by a barking dog. Because I'm allergic, I requested the dog be kept away from me. Mary says "booboo just wants to say hi" I explained again that I'm allergic.  They were frustrated by my request but thankfully one of them took the dog to the back room and closed the door.  Against my better judgement,  I sat down and stayed another 15 mins waiting to be seen. Then, the dog ran back up to me. I hear the women yell my appointment is canceled. As I stood up to leave, I see a large masculine being approaching me. They got in my face insulted my appearance. I immediately left, their "body guard" stepped outside, followed meand continued yelling at me while I walked to my car in the parking lot. I called the police and filed a report.

10/10 definitely recommend!! Tee made my nails look amazing and I've already gotten many compliments! I've already made another appointment and will definitely continue getting my nails done here. Very clean and neat place.

T is an excellent nail technician and always goes over and beyond to make your nails look amazing! Yes she does get to other appointments late, but so do hair stylist! I rather wait then go somewhere else and have a crappy nail job. Her dog is sweet and doesn't get in the way of anybody!! She has a fun spirited attitude and love going to her!

I have been going to Tulip Nails for almost a decade. Granted, I only go 3-4 times a year (I live 45 minutes away). They have recently moved locations. The new number wasn't listed anywhere. I had to drive by the establishment to get the new phone number. T, the owner, doesn't honor customer loyalty. I have only missed one appt in a decade and that was due to a death in the family. Ever since that missed appointment, she has mentioned it to me numerous times. I arrived late today for an appt due to road construction (in an area I do not frequent often therefore had no knowledge of any delays). I called en rte to inform her that I was going to be late. I was going to get my eyebrows waxed, which is at most a 10 minute ordeal. When I got there, I had to wait at least that long for her to come out of the back. She then rolled her eyes and said she had another appt. (Again, I was late for reasons out of my control.) At first, I wasn't going to say anything, but then I had to speak up. At almost every appt I have had there, I was on time and had to wait for her to finish up on someone else. My usual wait time before my procedures even began was 20-30 minutes. I told her such and asked if she couldn't just quickly wax my brows. Her response was "She is never late." This made me laugh because for years, she has not only been late for me but for relatives of mine who have frequented Ts establishment for a decade as well. My Aunt has shown up as the first appt of the day numerous times only to have T arrive up to 45 minutes later than the scheduled appt time. T does good work (which is why i have continued to use her establishment even though I now live 45 minutes away.) Her lack of customer loyalty is appalling. There was another technician in the building and Ts 1 o'clock client who was getting her nails done. Why couldn't she have the other technician begin the process for the other client? I think considering I drove all that way and wasn't late on my own accord should have been taken into consideration. I also ALWAYS tip and have, once again, been a steady client of hers for a decade. I will NEVER use Tulip Nails again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. T is rude and tempermental. She may do good work (granted, I only get my eyebrows done so I cannot speak on her other skills) but she is slow, complains all the time, has her dog running around the shop, and isn't loyal to her customers.
