Make no mistake, you are stepping into the kingdom of Chad when you walk into Tricho. Where he is king and you should pay attention to him, despite the fact that you are paying him. He is the authority on all things that he knows about (and those that he doesn't)
The day I went into Tricho, it seems as if he might have had a few bumps too many from his blow stash. He made it clear this is his clubhouse where the customer is secondary to his ego cravings. Remember when you go in, this is not about customer service, it is about service to Chad.
He did not ask one question about who I was, or what I do, or how I would like my hair styled.
To make things worse than they already were, I got a bad haircut. After trying to make conversation with him and his faithful audience (one of his friend's and his lieutenant hair stylist who conformed to his dyer neediness, kowtowing to his desperation of lack of love somewhere in his world), he suddenly said you're done. When I got home, I saw that he had trimmed one sideburn but not the other. The cut was uneven on top. Maybe if he wasn't high it would have been better?
He also has a very kind, gentle, loving dog that he treats quite poorly as witnessed by me and 2 other people as he chased the dog around the shop with a spray bottle.
IF you are looking for a stylist that is mindful, attentive and there to make you look your best, this is not your shop. Chad appears to have the emotional intelligence of a prepubescent boy with ADHD.
Finally, a message directly to Chad, your behavior is not something you can be proud of. I am paying you... not the other way around, get that straight. You are there to perform a service, not perform antics to get the gaping hole in your soul filled with your customer's attention. Grow up blow boy.
