Tres Lux Nails in Corpus Christi, TX

I noticed that the other reviews are really old, so felt I should write a current one!! I've been here twice and got a great pedicure both times. The first time, I got just the standard pedicure and it lasted weeks. Today I got the premium pedicure which included massage, hot wax booties and hot towels on my calves. It was very relaxing! The staff were very attentive to everyone just dropping in, too. I had actually called ahead to book an appointment. Sunni also did a mini neck massage between doing my toes and doing my manicure. He was very good and quite funny. I will definitely go back and look forward to my next visit.

Let me start by saying I really like how my toes came out. I originally went in for a pedicure and a full set, but towards the beginning of my nails getting done I told the woman I just wanted my toenails painted instead of getting a full pedicure. She pressured me in front of the whole salon to go ahead and get a pedicure and she said she would do my acrylics while I was in the chair, which was nice but it wasn't what I wanted . I didn't want the pedicure, but I was embarrassed so I went over to the chair. Once I sat down I told the young girl that all I wanted was for them to take care of my toenails. I just wanted my toenails painted. She looked at me like I was stupid, and then once again I was pressured into getting the full pedicure because the employees were discussing this quite loudly with me and I was embarrassed because all of the other customers could hear our conversation and I was getting nowhere with the employees so I gave in. I knew they were only pressuring me so I would have to pay more money. I love the way my toes were painted, but all I wanted was for them to be painted. I decided against the full pedicure after seeing how disorganized and dirty the salon was. Here's to hoping they take more pride in cleaning their tools than they do in cleaning their salon.

I walked in and they greeted me quickly, helped me to make my mani/pedi choices, then asked me if I wanted something to drink. Super friendly! Had super great pedi with hot stone massage. Very nice!

Used this salon as I was given a gift certificate. It was far from being a relaxing experience. Explained to the employee I'm diabetic waiting for foot surgery. I stressed I could not get any cuts or the surgery I was waiting for 5 weeks already would have to be postponed. While trimming my toenails, the guy cut way too much. My reflex was to kick as this was very painful. Luckily, he got out of the way. By the grace of God I did not bleed. I was moved twice and a total of 3 employees worked on my pedicure. They are friendly but will never go back. Too stressful.
