Trashy Roots Salon in Washington, MO

I was recommended to come here by a friend a few months back, some of the best services I've ever received! The environment in the salon is very laid back and comfortable, they have a little coffee cart by the door for people who want it. All the stylists are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about what they're doing. I've gone to Cheyanne about three to four times now and have not been disappointed once! She's a very good stylist and knows exactly what I want as soon as we start talking, she is very easy to talk to and very understanding too! She is so nice and she will do almost anything to make you feel as happy with your hair as possible. This is the best experience I have ever had at a salon and I would definitely recommend her to anyone trying to find a stylist in town.

Love this salon!!! I was in a pinch back in October and needed my hair cut and colored, my usual salon that I had been using was not able to get me in until Saturday which was not going to work out as I was out of town. I was able to call that morning and got an appointment that afternoon. Jamie was my stylist and was very sweet and patient as we tried to find a color that could wear while in uniform (I'm in the MO ANG and there are strict rules about hair color and styles). She was fantastic and the cut and color turned out great! I am getting ready to go back to have the color touched up and a trim before the holidays. I completely recommend this salon to anyone looking for a hair cut.

In the interest of full disclosure, I will say that yes, the owner of this business is the wife of my dad's friend, and the building is owned and occupied by my stepsister's husband. But hey, isn't this how it always works in small towns? Hell, I even played on the Trashy Roots dodgeball team at the local fair a few years back...had a target and the words "Big Trashy" on the back of a team shirt we had made. :P

Even if all that weren't true, I'd still rate this place a 5. It's the kind of salon that Washington had been hurting for, in my opinion. The stylists are friendly and accomodating, the owner Alisha is down to earth and a real sweetheart, and my stylist Jamie is cool and knows my head of hair like the back of her hand.  She is literally the ONLY stylist I've been to in the last 2 years that hasn't messed up my haircut somehow, and I've had about 5 in that time period.

The best spot in Washington for a good precision haircut or dye job. Check 'em out downtown!
