Transformations Salon in Rural Hall, NC

I had a wig emergency. I'm going thru cancer treatments, lost my hair, and I have a wig I love but I cut the bangs myself and messed it up bad. I called around but was told by a few salons that because wig is synthetic, they don't want to touch it in case they mess it up themselves.

Ricky saved me today!!!! He was kind enough to see me last second, fit me in and fix what I did. He was a gentleman and a kind person and he has no idea just how much it meant to me today. He also charged me barely anything to do it.

Place looked beautiful and I'll be back when my hair grows back!

They did a great job with my thick hair. I highly recommend Ricky. This a clean professional place to get your hair done. They use Aveda and Redkin products and a few others. I love that it is in an old historic home too.

This used to be a good salon until my hair was ruined. To start it wasn't the color I requested but I didn't hate it but the very next day the color was coming out of my hair and when I washed it the color was back to what I started with. I contacted the stylist but what they wanted to do I was told was a temp fix by a stylist friend of mine and the stylist wanted another 25.00 dollars to do that when it had been three days. I ended up going to a well known salon to get it fixed and was told she didn't use enough color to begin with and two she ruined it by bleaching my hair making color hard to stick. I had to go twice to get it to take hold but I'd rather pay to not only get the color I originally wanted but to have it done right. The other salon felt so bad that they discounted the price because of what I had been through. I contacted the owner but he didn't care at all. I was even told that if I would of came back there would of been no charge when I told him that she wanted to charge he said well I rent my booths so it's their choice. Guess he'd rather have a bad reputation on his salon than do something for a long time customer. If I could give zero stars I would. Save your money and go somewhere else!!

I went once w/ a stylist named Ricky and it was alright, the other day I went with a girl named Ashli and it was TERRIBLE! I only wanted 2 inches off and my layers to be cleaned up. She took about 80% of my hair and hacked it into different lengths at about 5"shorter than my original length. I finally told her to STOP and it was really just horrifying to see so much of my hair gone at weird, choppy, lengths. Not only did she NOT listen to me, but the haircut was executed terribly. I should have left when Ashli started talking on the phone while in the middle of my haircut.
