Top Coat Nail Salon and Hair Studio in Big Bear Lake, CA

Called and was told a nail tech would get back to me and that they were 3 weeks out, she took my name and number and I never got a call. Don't bother calling, they don't need your business.

This review is way over due! Susan @ Top Coat is my girl!! I have dingy blonde hair and don't get into the salon as often as I should so when I do Susan has her work cut out for her! I always come in with some picture of what I want in my head and Susan always makes it happen. Ice queen? Peek-a-boo pink, no problem! This last time we toned and highlighted and it was so refreshing! My schedule during the week is crazy but Susan always makes time for me, even if that means we're there late! Not only do I love Susan but the Salon is the cutest -glittery floors - I love it! It's always clean, comfortable and they always have the products that I need. Booking is so easy and you get little reminder texts which I definitely need! My co-worker (who has really curly hair) went to Dallas and had her hair done before her son's wedding almost a year ago and was so happy, she looked beautiful! She just recently went back to get her hair cut and colored and again, is so happy with it! We're definitely lucky to have such a great Salon up in Big Bear and I highly recommend all of the ladies that work at Top Coat for whatever your beauty needs are!

The ONLY place my whole family goes for our hair care. The boys get their hair cuts by Dallas and I go get my cuts and color by Susan(she's my fave). I love the atmosphere of Top Coat and I can't imagine going anywhere else. I haven't tried their nail services but I've seen there work and it looks great. Whether you're visiting or you live up in big bear full time, Top Coat is the place to go for your beauty needs.

Big Bear's a small town, so when 99% of everyone you ask answers with "Dallas at Top Coat", you know where to go for a hair cut or color! She does so many of my co-workers and friends' hair that I just had to try and see if she can help me maintain my white-blonde (extremely unnatural) hair color. I have almost black hair, and after years of bleaching hair on my own, I took a chance and went to a salon, and I will never do my hair myself again! I have the life and love back into my hair from roots to tips, and my hair has grown so much more from the proper care and treatment needed! She helps guide you, answers any questions, and is just a really cool person to talk to while you sit and get pampered! The Top Coat Nail Salon is the most comfortable, friendly, and talented salon I've been in. I've been going to Dallas for my hair for about two years now, and I'm always confident in her work!! She gives me a beautiful blonde every single time I go. Even after dying my own hair with difficult box dye she is still able to correct it back to a beautiful color! I'm never worried about the outcome and always excited and confident when it's finished!! Thank you ladies for creating such a loving environment.
