I had Peggy done my hair color and bang trim today. She is very friendly and nice, did a very good hair color and trim job for me, and the charge was reasonable. I definitely will come back for her service once I spend a vacation in Big Bear Lake again.
This was my first trip to Big Bear in years and I didn't have a chance to get my hair done before I left home. I called several salons and most of them were busy and couldn't fit me in. I got lucky, a woman who I think was the owner informed me a stylist named Carolyn would be in soon and she could fit me in. When I arrived there was a bit of a situation with the building and the owner's husband & owner explained & apologized. It wasn't a big deal to me and it was something out of the owners control. I appreciated they acknowledged the situation. They were both very nice. Carolyn came in and got settled and gave me a great service. My hair is thick and there's lots of it. My hair felt great. Carolyn was very kind and I had a nice conversation with her. She gave me a mini hair brush before I left which will actually be perfect in my travel bag. This salon isn't fancy or pretentious, it's just a group of stylist earning a solid living doing solid work. Thank you ladies I hope you have a great 2020.
The ladies here treat you like family. I always got my hair cut here and always enjoyed the experience. They have also cut my daughters hair and she loved her new style.

This is not a fancy place but if you want a good haircut Mimi is the one to see. A shampoo and a razor cut is $25 and she does an outstanding job. this is probably one of the best haircuts I've had in a long time. the entrance is not easy to find and you need to drive around the back of the shopping center to find it.
