Update: It's been 19 days. I left this review at two stars because the owner did reach out to me and was nice and professional. However, I still would not go back here. I have three thick, choppy, distinctive layers. It's terrible. My hair is up all day now. I hope they train their staff to be more professional and take their time to make a positive impression in the future. I hate leaving a negative review but for every star I took off, I did justify it. So I walked in and Sarah immediately took me to her chair. She didn't introduce herself, so that's half a star off. I was washed and the conditioning treatment was put in. While I was waiting she didn't ask if I wanted any water or coffee to drink like I usually am at other places, that's another half a star. Sarah was really quick but almost TOO quick in cutting my hair. Every time she got remotely close to my face or ears, she would hit it with her brush. For the hair cut experience, that's a full star taken off. The blow dry part was just as painful. She kept the heat on my scalp and I jerked forward at one point because it hurt so bad. She was rough too and I could feel my hair snapping. At the end, she blow dried the bottom half of my hair in and my layers out. I asked her about it and she got defensive. She fixed it but said that I asked for volume, not for it straight but she could do it if that's what I really wanted. I said volume, not a ridiculous style. Before or after the blowdry, she didn't put any heat protectant or smoothing serum in. That was REALLY strange. I have never been to a place that doesn't do some product. For the blowdrying experience and lack of professionalism and attention, that's another star. It was a little off putting the entire time she smelled like smoke. She was nice but just seemed in a super big rush the entire time. The overall experience was painful but at least my hair is cut. I did tip her but out of courtesy. I won't be returning.
