I'm new to the area and didn't know where to get my hair cut. I chose TIGI because it's nearby, and I am so glad I did. Miriam gave me a great cut and treatment, all the while making me feel at ease. She listened to my concerns and wishes and made her own excellent suggestions. I'll be going back for sure!
I had the unfortunate experience to have Jack as my stylist at Tigi Salon on Cleveland Park, DC. He was telling inappropriate stories that made me feel uncomfortable about his personal/romantic life, and when I asked for the cut to frame my face he decided to give me bangs!!!! He ruined my hair and I am going to have to go to another stylist to get my hair cut again to fix this. At the end, when I was clearly upset, he said "it's sassy, I like it, your boyfriend will love it....and you'll get used to it." I was on the verge of tears and cried walking home. He wrapped up the appointment by sharing with me that next time he would charge me more because he would have a special styling tool. To Tigi, and to Jack...I will not be returning, nor will my boyfriend who used to get his hair cut at this salon. Beware when making an appointment here, especially if Jack answers the phone.
