O Salon in Washington, DC

I am feeling myself with this gloss and cut from Guillame! He brought life back to my locks. He maintained the length while adding movement. The gloss gave me the ideal depth and richness. He understood my hair texture. He is a master at his craft. Thank you Guillame!

UPDATE: THE HAVE TRIED TO EMAIL MY BOSS BECAUSE OF THIS REVIEW !!!! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY INSANE --- I WOULD RECOMMEND NEVER COMING HERE -- I WILL NOW BE CONTACTING THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU RUN AWAY !!! This was hands down the worst experience I have ever had at a salon. I have been getting highlights for 20 years and have never had someone butcher it so badly. First, I explained what I wanted, showed pictures and even know what to do and not to do (my mom was a hair stylist) and they still managed to completely fry my blonde hair. Not only did I get tiger striped highlights the first go (balayage which I specifically stated that I did not want) but when I expressed my concern and went back, they absolutely turned my hair lemon yellow and fried parts of it when they finally did give me the foils I had originally asked for. I have had two expert stylists try and fix (both mentioned how badly it was and could not believe I paid upward of $400 ) but they were not able to completely neutralize the yellow without further damaging my hair. When I was texted by the salon for a return appointment and told them how upset I was, I asked for my money back (direct and maybe a bit rude but at this point i'm so upset I don't know what else to do) only to have the following text sent to me; "Hi Nikki, it's Patricia. Just got your super rude email. If you were so upset with the hack job, you should have contacted us weeks ago.I talked to Guilaume and he said he gave you your foils you wanted (which is so 1980's.) Also, Washington is a small town and after Guilaume send your name on the list to other stylists good luck finding a salon. Have a blessed day." This is insane and I would like my money back. I hope this helps anyone thinking of going here, I would avoid at all costs.

Lucia & O Salon is incredible! This was my first haircut in almost a year (due to COVID) and I love it! The salon experience was great and the atmosphere was lovely. Lucia walked me through her plan for what I wanted done, step by step. I have very thick hair, which can be bulky at the ends, and she knew just what to do to manage this. She showed me how much she was cutting off at each step to make sure I was comfortable with the length. And she was SO friendly! Highly recommend Lucia and O Salon - I can't wait to get my haircut by her again!

You were not the person who helped me, I must have gotten the owners confused. I wrote this review because I received an email from your salon asking me to review your business so I did. Obviously my review was very much on point. Good luck with your business since most are closing down.

Yesterday was a big day for me. I got a haircut. For the first time in 4 months. For a person with a short haircut this is a long time! I went to the same hair stylist I've been with for the past 10+ years. His name is Guillaume Choquet. He is one of two co-owners of O'Salon. You can find him on IG https://www.instagram.com/guillaumeosalon/ All these years I've been getting compliments on my perfect haircut. My daughter, with her long blond curls, would never go anywhere else for her cuts and highlights. All her Georgetown friends followed her and swear by Guillaume's talent. He holds a BA in Salon Arts from Paris (serious 4 years education, not a few months of training American hair dresses go through). He then practiced for years in France. He has been working in DC for over a quarter of a century. COVID side of it: for rather different reasons, but both my husband and I are in high group risk when we talk COVID. We do not leave the house except for careful walks outside in masks. We only very recently started to carefully see any our friends, not more that once a week, max 2 people at a time, never anyone closer than 3 meters, always outside. And yet, I dared to go to O'salon after I learned about Guillaume's protocol. They follow all CDC guidelines to the dot. There are never more than two-tree clients total in two large areas. They change A/C filters and hair disposal filters frequently. They sterilize everything non-stop. Of course, everyone must wear well fitted masks. To be extra safe, I made my appointment for the first slot, 7:30AM on Tuesday. This way, I was the first and the only client in the salon after their two days weekend. There were only three of us in the whole salon: Guillaume, his cleaning lady, and myself. He took the payment himself. No touching or signing on card scanner of course.
