Threading By Sonia in Brookfield, WI

One of my friends recommended I go to Sonia to get my eyebrows threaded. I was very impressed. I used to strictly only wax my eyebrows so had a lot of questions about threading. Sonia answered all my questions and more - I could tell how well versed and proficient she is at her career. I will be coming back to get my eyebrows threaded again. My skin is very sensitive and It get super irritated by the waxing and pulling to the point where they would swell up a littl , after threading I had no swelling!! My skin was not irritated at all!! I'm so happy with my experience and highly recommend Threading by Sonia to everyone.

I unfortunately kept coming here for a year and was let down every time until another threading business opened up nearby. The first time I visited last year I was growing my eyebrows out and after I left I had a bald spot on my right eyebrow. The second time above my right eyebrow there was a skin burn from her threading too fast. I tried this place again recently and there was no regard for my time. She took 2 calls in the middle of my threading session with no apology. I had waited at least 20 minutes after she opened while she got things set even though I was her first customer. Happy to say I will not be back

Sonia is very much an artist when it comes to the shaping of eyebrows. she has just reopened after the pandemic and she takes every precaution to make sure everything is super clean and super safe.

Buyer beware! I'll start with my eyebrows because that's what I am most upset about. I had spent over a year growing them out to thicken. Sonia didn't speak more than 3 words to me or ask what I wanted. She just said "come". And had me sit, then said "hold". I was horrified to see how thin she made my eyebrows! They are barely there anymore. And so uneven! The right brow is much thicker than the right. Last word she spoke was "slow"? To which I said yes please and she wiped on some with a Kleenex. The whole experience felt cheap. I got over the horror and am just filling them in for the time being until they grow back. Also don't do a walk-in! I showed up on a Thursday at 12:30.. no one was there so I called later (after the 5th call I got through to someone) and made an appointment for the next day. Sonia showed up 30 minutes late so I stood outside freezing. Only reason I stuck around is that I had a family photo shoot the next day and needed my eyebrows done. I regret going here.

Sonia does a very good job. Most important her products and salon is hygienic. Some other fly by operation threading salons do not even change the thread they use.
