Salon West & Body Works Spa in Brookfield, WI

Good luck trying to get an appointment scheduled!!!! I bought a Groupon for this place... I left 3 or 4 voicemails for them over the course of two weeks trying to schedule an appointment, and they NEVER ONCE called me back. I got so fed up that I contacted Groupon and got my money back. I've never had such horrible customer service from a salon...I spent lots of my own time trying to unsuccessfully track them down to get my appointment. It's worth noting, also, that they don't seem to have ANYONE manning the phone... it goes straight to a voicemail EVERY TIME. I even tried to connect to another office after being unable to get a response from the appointment scheduling number, and I literally couldn't get through to anyone at their company. Not worth your time!

My review is pretty consistent with Nikki B's. I had purchased a groupon and booked the appointment over a month in advance. Having received no call to confirm the day before my appointment, I called the salon. They insisted I had booked a spa day for me and my sister (a name I did not know). I said that I only booked the service for myself, and they asked me to tell them who my sister was. I was so confused and after a few minutes whoever I talked to backed down. The next morning, the same thing happened to me as to Nikki B. Front doors locked. Had to go to the back. They were so surprised that I didn't know. When I got in, I met with my masseuse. She was so friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed it. Then, she took me to my facial. My facialist (who I think is the owner) was very rude and did not talk to me the entire time except to say that basically, my face was really dirty. After the facial, I met with my pedicurist who was really nice. We talked a lot and she did not pressure me into upgrading. She told me that she could not give me flip flops because of the groupon, so I had to stay a while and sit in the waiting room while my toes dried. It was okay as there were magazines and coffee. At the end, my facialist (and owner) was rude and did not thank me for coming. When I asked if I could leave a tip, she finally perked up (albeit not all that much). As this lady is the owner, and I would probably have to deal with her the next time I booked my appointment or came in, I will not be coming back. Horrible customer service!!

This was a horrible experience from the moment we tried to get into the building. The sign is in front so that's where we parked. The door was locked at 8:50 and my apt was at 9. Tried calling twice no answer. Then I get a rude call saying the entrance is in back (this is 20min later). We enter and the 2 ladies inside are rude from the start. We find out supposedly the front door is kept locked because of the homeless people in the area- and im supposed to know that. Then they stare at our feet saying "oh- you didn't ring flip flops" with an attitude. I say that's usually supplied when u get a pedicure and the lady goes "you are using a groupon. You're getting this service for next to nothing." So basically we were judged and viewed as inferior since we were using the groupon. I understand that it's a good deal- that's why I'm here, but if they want to pass judgment they shouldn't offer a deal. Then they really didn't provide thorough services. Everything was cut short or not complete except the massage which was amazing. The normally $50 pedicure was just nail polish and a VERY short calf massage which they asked us to pay $5 extra for a nice cream applied to our legs. Then she put the cream on so thin that I couldnt even feel the nice cooling effect it should have have. The massage was given by someone who did not pass judgment or make snarky comments upon our arrival and I would go back to her without a doubt. Then as I'm leaving my friend tells me that the lady doing our pedicure, who was also the most rude to us, wasnt even an employee at the salon- she was just "helping out" for the day. Not worth it.
