I found this salon through Yelp, which every woman knows can be a little scary. Emmy lived up to her reviews. I have found her to be personable, considerate, caring and knowledgeable. Because she is a new stylist for me, I showed her pictures and she did exactly what I wanted. Prices are reasonable and the salon is very clean and has a good vibe. The only downside is the location. It is at the corner of Chinden Blvd. and Eagle Road and you can't make a left out the shopping center to get back on Chinden. But that is not Emmy's fault. I have definitely found my new hairdresser.

I discovered the salon during Covid and so glad I did! It's always very clean and welcoming and they follow safety procedures very well. I have curly hair and I find it hard to find someone who cuts my hair well. If something's not right they make sure you come back and make it right I highly recommend this salon!

I cannot recommend this salon enough! Emmy (owner/operator) has been cutting and coloring my hair since last summer. I wish I had found her long before I did. I went to ULTA and a few other salons around here and I was never really impressed with anyone. Most stylists will try to sell you on the products they use to wash/style your hair. Emmy doesn't do that. She is very professional while still being personable. She genuinely cares about the clients experience. The other stylists in the salon are always very nice. The Studio is clean (I watch Emmy sanitize each area when she is done working in it), bright and welcoming. It is not cluttered with too many products on the shelves. The music is not loud and there are no candles burning. If you have wanted to find a new stylist, check out The Studio. I won't let anyone else touch my hair anymore!

I visited this salon for the first time a couple of weeks ago for a highlight/lowlight and haircut. I saw Melissa. She asked lots of questions to get a good picture of what I really wanted. My hair, which I've been highlighting for more than 20 years, is fine and lifts quickly. Melissa attended to those details, educating me along the way on what she was doing and why. I prefer very subtle highlights (many stylists want to make my naturally brown hair overly blonde!) and she got the job done. For the cut, she gave my just-shoulder-length hair some nice long layers to add volume. I'll definitely be back to have Melissa do my hair again. As an aside, I sent my college-aged daughter to her a few days later for a haircut. My girl has hair precisely the opposite of mine--super thick, wavy, and big. The fact that Melissa was able to make both of us happy, with such different hair types, is a testament to her ability.
