Maybe they're great, but as no one will call me back, it's moot. This is the third hair salon I've called in Little Rock that did not return my call - and it's been over a week . Guess they don't need my business? Or maybe I'm just not in the habit of having to nag businesses to give me the honor of paying them for service? I don't mind booking out for an appointment if stylists are busy, but silence?
Being brand new to NLR, I didn't have a stylist in the area and my stylist is 4 hours away. I called The Standard and spoke to Ashley. Ashley is a miracle worker. I have very thick curly hair that was a mess! Not only was she able to get me in on extremely short notice, but she transformed my hair and gave it a style, not just the dreaded triangle shape most curlies are familiar with.
If you have textured hair or are just looking for a new stylist, I highly recommend Ashley. She is professional, friendly, and extremely talented.
This salon is good at hair but that's it, the stylist talk about all their customers as soon as they leave. Use the good products based on I guess, if they like you or not! This place is not relaxing or professional! All money is the same and clients should not be treated differently based on options
I always made a point to go to The Standard to get my hair done by Devin Russell! She is amazing! I always feel awesome leaving there and my hair is always better than what I imagined!
I LOVE Devin!! She is so knowledgeable and fun. Most importantly, she's amazing at what she does. Devin's definitely one of the best, if not THE best, blonde colorists I've ever had. She also preserves the integrity of my hair in the process. Can't say enough good things about this place! Very clean and professional
