I have had my hair done at this shop 4 times, the first time I went to Ashley, she did a cut and color for $80, I loved it! She did exactly what I asked for and I left a happy satisfied customer. Would have recommended her no questions asked. When I went the 2nd time Ashley was out off work at the time so I went to Alana, again absolutely perfect, cut and color $80 and again I left completely happy with the service I received and the price I paid for said service. As a matter of fact I was so impressed that I tipped her $20. The 3rd time I went they were booked for months out so I said I'll go with whoever is available soonest, which was Emily. Having had such impressive experiences in the past I had complete confidence in her ability to achieve what I was requesting. The first photo is the picture I showed her, I told her I wanted that same cut and the color as close as she could get it to the color in the photo. I left with the cut and color in the second picture, also paid $120 for a cut and color I didn't even want. So $40 more than I was expecting based on previous visits to the same shop. I was obviously not too happy to have just spent $120 on something I didn't even want so I called and asked if it could be fixed. The secretary said she spoke with Emily and she said "she would put a few more foils on it". I scheduled a follow up with Emily, but after speaking with a long time customer of the shop, she said I should call and request the owner of the shop fix it because why would I give anyone another chance to possibly make things worse when she didn't get it right the first time. So I call back, voice these concerns to the secretary, ask if maybe the shop owner could fix it and she asked if I wanted to book wt Ashley or Alana, I went wt Alana bc Ashley is just back to work from a period of time off and I assume she's swamped with all her clients trying to get in now that she's back. So today I went in to have it fixed, I saw Alana and was very pleased that she was able to get it as close to the original request, given what she had left to work with. However, I went in thinking this would be taken care of at no cost to me, just an assumption, given I had just paid $120 two weeks before for something I didn't even want, why should I have to pay to fix an employees mistakes? Well I did, and apparently Alana's rates have gone up $20 in a 4 month span bc today it was $100 rather than the $80 I was charged just 4 months ago for a cut and color when my hair was closer to 16" vs now it's just a few inches so I would have been using much less product, much less foil and less time bc there's so much less hair to work with.
The best hair salon in Yuma, don't even bother going anywhere else. Going into the sassy seale hair salon I met Joni the nicest lady I have ever met in my life, She is the sole reason I go into the sassy seale, While she is the nicest and sweetest lady, she gives a killer haircut. I have never gone to a hair salon that listens to my request so carefully and gives me exactly what I want every single time. I love the staff, they all make me feel comfortable, and ensure that every time I sit in that chair I'm apart of the family.
Today I took a leap of faith as I am very particular about my hair. Bailey came highly recommended- I can see why. She took the time to ask and understand exactly what I was looking to achieve. She also gave genuine feed back, which I love. Did I mention she's super sweet and made time fly by. I am VERY happy with my "blunt trim" and even more happy about the beach waves she gave me!
The best hair salon in Yuma! I've been to Ashley 4 times now and she is officially my hair stylist. Everyone is super friendly and my hair is always looking fabulous now thanks to this salon! Most of the girls book up pretty quickly so make sure you call in for an appointment at least a few weeks ahead of time. I promise it is worth the wait!
Been going to Joni for at least 15 years! She does a great job, as do all the other ladies. I always get compliments on my hair and have referred several people. Don't pay attention to those who go out happy and then go home and do a horrible review. And then have the nerve to go back again. Lady...you crazy! Buy Felicia ...
