Well, I walked in, sat down, and I was told, "we don't cut high and tights or fades, so we can't cut your hair". First off, why would they assume that is the hair cut I would ask for and wonder if it was because of my race. I am African American. They said I was leaving that they didn't now how to cut my hair. I was I felt ostracized because of my race I will never go back.
Great little barber shop that cuts decent hair. The focus is more young, and adult men's hair. Barber Shops are different than a salon as they don't offer all the different haircut styles. This is a basic barber. I did notice a sign that they cut women's hair 2-4 during certain week days. I wouldn't think women would be getting haircuts here. The cuts are $15.00 each which is fair. The owner cuts hair and he does a great job. He's quiet when speaking English. He was very talkative in Spanish. Very nice guy.
I was a walk in client and I got a great haircut at a good price. I take exception to the other person who wrote a review and seemed disgusted that no one in there was under 60. Considering that this part of Yuma has about 100,000 "Snowbirds" here every winter, what did she expect?
