Where is Ernie?? My 5 star rating is for stylist ERNIE. I was desperate for a trim and walked-in to shop with no appointment. I was directed to Ernie and have to say he gave me best cut I've had in ages. I was particularly impressed that he listened to what I wanted. This was Oct. 2016, and I'd planned to continue with this stylist. Alas, when I returned to have hair cut for upcoming holidays, shop (412 E. 16th St.) was CLOSED. GONE. I've been unable to learn what shop Ernie moved to. If anyone knows, please post, or contact me.
This review is long overdue. Approximately 2 weeks ago, I was in need of a hair cut and have had several bad cuts in the past from other establishments. Depending on Yelp to find a new hairdresser, I made an appointment at M'Lady M'lord Hair Design and Salon. I have very fine, limp hair and require razor texturizing to obtain lift and bounce to my otherwise short hair. I was assigned to Ernie for my cut. I am very impressed. After giving my "new do" some time, I find, I am just as happy with my cut now as I was when I walked out of the Salon. Ernie took the time to listen to my hair style needs, and was more than obliging to go back and re-texturize the top of my hair to remove more weight (better to go in stages then to cut and be stuck). The cost was reasonable, the Salon was clean, and everyone present was very friendly. I will be back!! Judy Sievert

I so miss getting my hair cut by Desi! I wish I could visit Yuma just to get my hair cut by her. She remembered what styles I liked and I had been going to her for over a year.
