The Salon West in Hattiesburg, MS

Mother and I planned a day of beauty and scheduled lash extensions - very expensive mistake!  We showed pictures, discussed prices paid by family and friends in Dallas and Waco, discussed make up style and thought we were set for our first experience which our girl friends swore was great.  When I put the mirror up to my finished lashes after 1 1/2 hours I looked like I was going to a Rocky Horror Picture show costume party!!! Mother has developed eye infections from the heavy gauge extra long rock hard lashes put on.  Our eyes are soar and bloodshot from the excessive amount of glue used which hardened the lashes to where it felt like there were wood splinters shoved in our lids.  After two days of misery had the lashes remover - somewhere else of course.  Don't do it here.

Great haircuts!

No so great nail service. Got a shellac manicure and French for toes but the French nail job was pretty mediocre. Pretty similar to what I can do myself at home and not neat and clean.

It pains me to not give this place 5 stars because the lady who did my nails/toes was pretty nice and so was the girl who gave me a haircut. Extremely friendly, nice, and someone I can be best friends with but for $75 ($85 with tip) nails/toes I expect a good job. Mani/pedi was great but color job was bad. My shellac nails peeled off after 3 days (like completely came off as if they were stickers on my nails!). My toes were not done properly, the lines were not even and neat for French. Had to get them both redone at another place and was not very happy spending another $50. Will not be back for mani/pedi. Will be back for a haircut though. The girl who gave me a haircut was amazing at it and I just love my haircut! Wayyyy above and worth the $35 I spent!! Would've gladly spent $50 for such an amazing job!!
