The SALON by InStyle Inside JCPenney in Monaca, PA

Left the store with a security tag on my dress and it never beeped when I left the store . I was all the way in Niagara Falls about to be picked up in 20 minutes to get married when I got dressed and realized the security tag was on. I called and talked to somebody named kathy who seemed super nice but after going in today and having it removed the manager names Melanie I think didn't seem to care or even seem apologetic. Not only was my wedding day ruined but I also had to deal with coming back to the store . I told her the women I talked to was going to address it and wanted to see the receipt this lady didn't want to see it and don't offer me a gift card for any inconvenience . I know accidents happen but don't put them in weird places That employees don't know to take them Off then. Super Disappointed and I know I'm Only one little person but I will be posting this in my social media and telling everybody I work with not to shop there . Karma always gets back To the right people so the Cashier better hope something similar don't happen to her kids one day or herself. She was literally talking to other employees and customers and basically ignoring me While taking the tag off and just handed it To me like I just didn't say it was on and I had to leave to go get married . Super upset and disappointed and disrespectful

As you probably already know, JCPenney is a department store that sells clothing, shoes, accessories, and jewelry, as well as home products for the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and dining room. When I visited this location, I thought that the inventory of clothing for juniors and misses was large--so many dozens of racks! I picked out two pairs of slippers and two shirts that were on sale, and the total price for all four items was only $47. The items appear to be a good quality and should last a long time. The checkout process went smoothly. I am giving a neutral rating, because I shop at JCPenney about once per year, and I generally prefer other stores' clothing.

Brought my son in for a deep conditioning and split ends and our hairstylist was Anntona it's our first visit so our appointment went well and I will go back for a visit

Personally I feel as though every time I go in here I don't find anything, but my mom always does for herself so that's a matter of opinion. Other than that it's a pretty big store and the customer service is always pretty good.

I shop quite often at this JCPenney location. I'm a frequent buyer at the Sephora, and I like the selection of clothes and jewelry as well. But I will no longer shop here because of my last experience. I was chased around the store, while shopping, being harassed by employees to sign up for a JCPenny's credit card. The employee begged for me to sign up for this card, claiming that if they didn't sell a certain amount they would lose their job. The employee at the register also was very persistent, claiming that JCPenny was forcing them to sell FIVE A DAY! A friend of mine was also at this location and the employee straight lied to sell this card. Also begging and pleading to have my friend sign up, and when my friend asked if she was signing up for a credit card THREE TIMES while filling out her information, and the employee reassured that it's just a rewards card. A few days later my friend received a credit card in the mail and her credit score was lowered. Corporate should be ashamed putting this kind of pressure on their employees. Three different employees begging to save their jobs and deceiving customers is just pathetic!
