The Hair Cutting Co in Indianapolis, IN

I Definitely wont ever come back. They definitely arent professional.  I was trying to get my 4 year olds hair cut.  I called my normal barber and he says he's not cutting hair today.  So I visit the shop to use another barber. I go in and my normal barber was there in the shop but said he wasnt cutting hair.  So why are you there then?  Then the other barber said he was booked up, even though there was only 1 other person in the shop waiting.  I go to the other barber and he says he wont cut my sons hair because he cries.  I'm like, he's 4, what do you expect.  So thats fine, I wasnt upset, but then the guy is continuing to mutter something under his breath and I know he was talking about my son, but I just ignored them.  Your not a barber if you can't cut a childs hair.  Dont call yourself a barber, you'd be better off cutting out of your living room.  So in a shop with 4 barbers, and only ONE of them was cutting hair.  and only ONE PERSON WAS SITTING WAITING FOR A CUT, I was not able to PAY and get my sons hair cut.  smh, terrible.  I been going here for 5-6 years but I will not step foot back in there and I will tell everyone I know not to go there either.

I'm gonna give them 2 stars just because of the benefit of the doubt. I called  just simply see what types of Hairstyles they do there and what time they close shop. I got plenty of attitude from a rude ignorant person who answered. Best believe that I will not be giving them MY business ....THE RATINGS ARE TRUE

Took my son in today, & Merch cut his hair & I gave my son the money to pay him. My husband came in with our other son right after that & Merch also cut his hair & my husband paid. Merch then told my husband that we didn't pay for my first son & began to curse him in the middle of the shop with other customers & children in the shop refusing to hear what my husband had to say. My husband then asked him to come outside, he reluctantly obliged.  After hearing what my husband had to say, he then remembered we indeed paid him. We will never return.  You try to support your own & they treat you like this... Never again & we've been going here for at least 2-3 years.... very disappointed.  It's hard to find a good barber but I'll definitely go elsewhere.

I have been here a few time to get my school aged boy's hair cut. Positives: Affordable, location, clean atmosphere, friendly staff, seating. Negatives: Unless you have an appt w/ someone, you could be waiting for hours. If there is a chair avl when you walk in, that person (most likely) takes too long to cut hair or isn't the best barber.  I use this place as a last resort though because even though this is a predominantly male establishment, the barbers frequently use foul language and play sexually suggestive/explicit lyrics music.  The only time they stop is when I remind them that there are children around... and mind you, there are more kids there than just mine. I've been in other barber shops and understand, sometimes that's just what it is.. but I think this place needs to hold their barbers to better standards. Other than that, the quality of the cuts are average to above average... except the owner- if you can get in his chair - you'll leave there looking like "
