I recently visited this salon because this is where my hairdresser from GEO landed after it closed. I'm glad I checked it out because it was cute, quiet, in a great area and had its own parking lot.
Sarah Jane is my hair dresser and I highly recommend her. She's super rad and super easy to talk to. I only ever get a trim haircut-wise, but she also has blended my extensions for me and clipped them in and styled them. I always leave with that post-salon glow thanks to her.
For the trim and then having my clip ins put in and styled it was about $70 without tip. I don't go to the salon very often so if I only go a handful of times a year this sounds like a reasonable price to me.
I don't live in Knoxville but since I had class I figured why not go to a salon around campus. I got really lucky find The Bees Knees because Amy squeezed me last minute for a quick trim. I had old dead bleached hair that I just was absolutely frustrated with and need gone! She got me in same day and had me looking wonderful. The salon is located in a really up and coming area in South Knoxville with a few breweries/eateries/coffee surrounding it so it was easy to kill time before appt. The salon itself is very clean, quiet and eccentricly decorated. Affordable for the cut and I even purchased some lotion!
Amy herself is also is a blast to talk to. Normally I just sit there and not say a word or have dry conversation. But she is very engaging and made me feel like I have known her all my life! This is my go to and worth driving +30 minutes!!!!
