I don't usually write reviews but i am just so appreciative of how my hair stylist goes out of her way to make me feel special that i just wanted to write one. I  have been going to Angela, the owner of Magnolia Salon, for years. I have very difficult hair and she has always gone above and beyond to give me tips and advice on how to care for it.  I have first hand seen her with her other clients and the other stylists in the salon and she is always friendly and helpful to everyone .  At this point, I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair.  She did my hair for my daughter's wedding and even though it was a hot july day my typically frizzy hair remained beautiful all day on the water thanks to Angela. I highly recommend Magnolia Salon and Angela

Had a root color + cut done. Unfortunately, my white hairs were not covered at all. Came in for a redo & my stylist put color on the areas he saw whites using 10 volume & kept it on ONLY 20 mins. He did not blowout my hair, bc it would've been an extra $50 charge. Sadly, had failed results once again as the whites were still left uncovered. I could see them clearly after washing my hair. Angela, the owner, offered to color my root area free of charge & bring the color to the ends of my hair for an extra $30, I agreed. She blamed my whites not being covered due to the salon "using dyes with transparency". When I came in for the appt Angela scheduled me for, I was w a new stylist. Before the stylist began on my hair, she said I only needed my roots done and the whites. Angela came back & said the color should be bought down to the ends. I was told without a blowout the total would be $35. I agreed. Angela came back & was furious, she complained that she needed to pay her stylists and expected me to add a blowout to my service so she can make more $. Instead of sticking with her word of fixing the whites that were never colored from my first service I paid for, she spoke down to me in an extremely inappropriate and unprofessional manner. I left after that. Owner doesn't care about clients. Waste of my time.

I would not recommend this place to anyone.  Its very dirty too many things going on at once.  My hair is ruined.  Valentina highlighted it and I asked for a partial which cost me 170.00,    My bangs did not match the overall highlight color because the lights they use to dry your hair were not strong enough.

I had to wait 3 weeks before they corrected the issue so I thought.  Well there was no toner put on the bangs and my hair looks like hell.  I would never go back there.  Also, they charged me 35.00 to wash and blow dry my hair additional.  Who does that.  I wouldn't wish it upon my worst relative to go there and lord knows we I have plenty of them  LOL.

Valentina's talent for coloring hair is unmatched. I made an appointment with Magnolia last September looking to get a balayage service done and the receptionist paired me with Valentina. This stylist is knowledgeable, a great conversationalist and is willing to go through lengths to answer hair questions thoroughly. I ended up getting a partial foil, root smudge, and toner. Being a natural dirty blonde with a few grey hairs it's a low maintenance coloring service that I can go roughly 6 months between services. I saw Valentina for the second time yesterday, 4/15/23 for the same service and she blew my expectations out of the water. If you're looking to highlight and add life to your hair, don't hesitate and book immediately with Valentina! Her Instagram is also a great reflection of her work!
