Who are these people at the salon on walnut. The huge lady Kim was lacking such customer service etiquette she belongs in a barn. The associate laurel didn't know anything and was unsure of her skills..beware of this dirty un-kept facility. Should be so embarrassed at their lack of expertise.
I'm new to New Braunfels and I needed a perm. When I called I was told the owner had been doing perms for many years. And she did do a good job with my hair. It was when I went to pay that I was upset. She said she would trim the back of my hair, so I said ok. She literally took 4 snips off the back of my hair and charged me 18 dollars for a hair cut. I was shocked. She never mentioned that there would be an extra charge to trim my hair. So my 45 dollar perm, which she charged me 55 for, ended up costing me almost 75.00. She had no remorse when I complained. She just told me to come in on Wednesdays when the cut was only 14.00. Very unprofessional not to inform a client of the costs ahead of time. Unbelievable. Guess I'll look for a different salon for my next perm.
The lady at The front was ridiculously rude. I asked if we could be put on the wait list for a haircut and for a strip of color. She said so nastily, like I was an idiot for even asking, at four in the afternoon, " No, we don't have time to do that today." And just walked away from me. If your customer service is that bad then you don't want my money.
I have been here many times before and Cresta does a nice job every time. She takes her time making sure I was happy with the layer, face frame and thinning out.
