Tecnicolors Salon in Gainesville, FL

I had been in Tecnicolors for almost 1year since we moved in town for my work. Katherine was recommended by my previous hair dresser in Orlando, who had cut my hair for at least 2 years. Katherine was doing an OK job. When I went to there last week for my haircut however, she is too busy to pay attention to my hair. She was 15 minuets late as she was taking care of the previous customer, who apparently is her friend. Then she spent about 40 minuets on my hair( in contrast to 1 hour as supposed to). She did a lousy job cutting my hair as a result, which made my hair uneven at that bottom(I have short bob hair) ! I was extremely disappointed the following morning when I saw my hair and felt embarrassed to go to work! I was even more disappointed and angry when I was trying to make an fix appointment with front desk. The front desk woman( the older one)was not friendly at all( she has some disrespectful attitude from beginning that I always ignored since I went there for hair cut). Since I work in the hospital and it was hard for me to get time off, she was very inpatient, and rude( giving me the feeling that is was my fault that I have to go back to fix my hair?!). Anyway, this front desk person is the reason I don't want to go back there any more. So eventually we set up a time for me to go back to fix my hair, but Katherine seems lost what to do with my hair and was struggling on my hair .... well, I decided not going back. I was treated poorly by the front desk, and I really don't have time to go back twice to have ONE hair cut. I was also disappointed that Katherine still does not know or pay attention to how to cut my hairs after almost a year there.

I had a terrible experience here!! I got Japanese straightening down with Dwyane and it turns out he did not know what he was doing. I had to go to my stylist in New York to fix it who confirmed my statement. Additionally, I wanted color done and he refused To do so because my hair was damaged. Which I understand but he was deceptive in his communication and to me that is unforgivable. Plus one of the receptionists is very disrespectful, rude and inappropriate with clients. I really wish I could get back the money that I wasted there and the money I had to spend to fix his carelessness and lack of expertise on the area of straightening and color. I would never go back there and be sure to stop any friends or family that think about going there as well.. if I can stop one person from going there then my job is done

My husband and I have been with Brian. He's the best! It's hard to find someone who knows a lot of hair and talented like Brian. I'm from Honolulu and glad that I finally found someone like Brian because I had to wait until I come back to Honolulu to get my hair cut until I met Brian! He's super friendly, listening to what I want and does exactly what I asked.

They are the best in town. I've been going there for two years now and always very pleased with how my hair look.

The stylists at Tecnicolors are all so helpful and well trained in the art of hair design. Katherine is a HAIR GENIUS! I was so happy with my hair experience. She was incredibly creative and innovative. Katherine took me as a walk-in but with her skill I am surprised she is not constantly booked. The pricing of Tecnicolors is a little high, especially for a college student. However, if here you get what you pay for: Amazing hair.
