I have been going to Kathe for years! She has a way with styling hair that very few people do! And, to top it off, Tapestry is a lovely salon - everyone makes me feel so warm and welcome! If you are looking for a new salon to try, my recommendation is Tapestry and Kathe!
Beauty is not only the exterior coloring and cutting, but also your glow from within. Marcos's magic is that in addition to his obvious beauty and styling skill, he applies TLC to uplift your spirits. I walked out of Tapestry salon feeling and looking 1000% better, inside and out. Thank you Marcos!
My first two experiences at Tapestry were very nice. I was pleased with my cut and color. Marcos and Sandy, the owners are extremely nice. Unfortunately my last experience left a lot to be desired for. I went needing to cover my gray and do highlights. I wanted to go a few shades lighter and showed Marocs a picture- an ashy blonde with lots of highlights. Once my color was done and he was drying my hair I instantly knew I didn't like it- my hair was yellow. But I wanted to let it sit for a day, maybe I would learn to like it. By the time I got home I hated it. The salon was wonderful in fitting me in when I called the next morning to get it fixed. Marocs spent an additional 4 hours going back and forth trying to adjust the color, it looks less yellow but now I look like a Surfer girl, which is not a good look for a 37 year old professional. After 7 hours and my hair getting multiple treatments I decided to give it a rest. My hair needs a break and honestly I do not have confidence to return back to Tapestry or Marcos to try to get it "fixed" again. There was obviously a huge communication breakdown. This was the worst experience I have ever had having my hair colored and I paid SO much money to get it done too! I'm now stuck hating my hair, not wanting to take pictures and just waiting for 8-12 weeks to pass so I can go somewhere else to get it fixed.
