Tammy-Lynn Nails & Spa in Layton, UT

If you don't mind poor quality service, being ignored while all the nail techs talk and joke over the top loudly amongst each other while doing your nails, AND act annoyed to be helping you then this might be your kind of place.  The only positive was my fingernails looked good and were dry by the time I got home 30 minutes later and polish is still on 4 days later. However...when I checked my toes  to see if they were close to being dry the polish came right off on my fingers. Upon closer inspection, I realized the nail tech had likely used cuticle oil instead of top coat because the polish on my toes had literally melted and were all smeared. I had the same color on my nails so I know it was not an issue with the polish itself. I ended up going to another nail salon closer to my home and paid for a polish change on my toes. Yes, I should have gone back to have the woman who did my nails to have fix it but the entire vibe of the place was awful. I told my friend on the way out, "Get a good look at this place because we will never be back here."

Trudy was great very nice and did a beautiful job on my nails . The salon is so updated and pretty inside . It's great to notice they catered to men and women I saw a lot on clients in today. I was able to call and get in right away. I highly recommend Tammy Lynn salon. I will definitely come back .

My friend had sunburn and asked for a basic pedicure. After her nail polish on her feet were drying she said look my feet are still very dry and need to be done better. The response was well you ordered basic and you have to do it next time. my friend is very shy and was embarrassed. There a sign no refund policy. My issue is the person who did her feet just refused to fix period.
This is not good business and not once did my friend say she would not pay for the difference to have a satisfactory solution.
No reasoning with the staff and beware if you're not happy with the service that's the way it is no fixing it. Basic pedicure is $30 for $5 difference to get dead skin removed better. The excuse was the nail polish will get ruined. My friend never said she wouldn't pay the difference the staff assumed. You can easily soak the foot without touching the nails of the feet if the dry skin is on the heel of the foot. There were no other customers the staff had time to fix it.
DISAPPOINTED. We will not be back.

I came in to get a manicure and pedicure. the pedicure I'm very happy with but my acrylics turned out horrible in my opinion. several of my nails have finger prints on the polish. and they look nothing like I asked for. she also barely even filed down the acrylic after she did it leaving the acrylic sticking to my fingers and very thick feeling heavy on my fingers. I felt like I wasted my money because I could have done a better job doing my own nails to be honest. the last picture is what I showed my nail tech

When I went there, the staff has me stand there for a while before seating me, not the problem though. It started off good, but the lady who did my nails made the gel paint splotchy, and the nails I got were just the logo to my fav band Korn and we had to redo the n 10 times because she kept doing it upside down. It got to the point why I was offering to do it myself. She also cut my finger pretty good.
