Taj Salon & Spa in Brooklyn Park, MN

I scheduled to have my hair and my bridal party done for my June wedding back in November. I thought that would be plenty of time to get everything in order. Unfortunately their "Bridal Concierge" team is not very good. They were the one stressful thing about my wedding. I had to constantly reach out to get a reply (if I got one). I was never responded to when I asked in January to schedule my hair trail. I reached out in March for a timeline to make sure we would be done on time and I did not get a reply until 3 weeks before my wedding and everything was incorrect. The times were well after I said we had to be done, they added makeup which was not marked on the form, and did not have the right styles with the right person. I tried to speak with a manager and she pushed me off saying I had to deal with the bridal team even after sharing my frustration about them. I would NOT recommend using them for a wedding. It's unfortunate since I use to like the salon but they have gone down hill with customer service. Day of the lady at the front desk was annoyed I was not paying for everyone and that she had to refund me for some of my deposit. She kept saying I could pay for someone and they pay me back even after I said no. I did love my stylist and she did a amazing job but the frustration of everything outweighs the day of service.

Bought 12 session package only, but they changed my account w/o my knowledge to a membership that charges monthly with no ending point. COVID hit and they were closed but still monthly charged me. After awhile I noticed the charges, called them and told them to stop. They would not refund any money, instead providing pre-paid credits for several one hour massages. I accepted, not ideal but I could occasionally give them to others. Every time it tried to redeem these credits we got a lot of blowback and rude service, making it very unenjoyable. The final straw was we were turned away because they said the credits expired. SO MANY crooked things with my experience, it was almost unbelievable. Do NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

Regardless of the stylist, you are treated to a wonderful scalp, arm and hand massage, along with a warm cloth and a scented oil spray and I love it. Definitely feels like you're being pampered with these small details that many salons don't offer.

My mom and I had facials today with Amanda and Sarah. Beautiful salon with wonderful treatments. We both felt like our Aestheticians knew a great deal about skin and took the time to come up with the best treatment for our skin. So relaxing and rejuvenating. Thank you.

I wrote a review about a month ago complaining about the guy that I had do my hair. It was wrong of me to post such a review without talking to the owner Adriana and giving her a chance to find a solution to the problem. After posting my review she reached out to me and offered to do the color for me. I still say that the gentlemen that I had was very unprofessional, rude and had a didn't give a damn attitude. All I have to say it is a good thing he is no longer there. Also, the salon is a favorite of mine, it has been since 2008. I have told many people about this salon and know for a fact that 8 of them all friends use it regularly. I was having a horrible day when I wrote the review and for that I do apologize!
