T N Nail & Skin Care in Niceville, FL

My friend and I received the most fantastic pedicure here today! We are from out of state and came in to inquire, since it was next to where we were grabbing a bite to eat. Walking inside was immediately impressive. Spotless facility. Beautiful fish tank that was WELL KEPT! Most salons with a fish tank don't typically take care of those fish and it's not a pretty(or clear) sight. All employees were with other clients but were gracious enough to let us book an appointment for after our lunch. Sanitation procedures were properly followed. Music was not too loud but very relaxing. Nice conversation from our nail techs & offered a bottle of water while we waited to dry. I don't visit this area often, but next time I do, I'm booking an appointment here before I even arrive.

Walked in with a friend and wanted to get pedicures. They were able to get us in almost immediately and were so professional. Talked to us not each other and never rushed us with picking a color. I'm very indecisive. Can't wait to come back.

I wish I could give zero stars! I'm new the the Niceville area and I attempted twice to get my nails done there because it's close to my house. I walked in and a lady was getting her nails done but the lady that worked there said they were closed. I came during their business hours. I looked at my watch and said closed? She said yes looked away. The second time I went there I scheduled an appointment at 9:30AM. I came in the SAME lady rolls her eyes saying how can I help you? In a tone that was CLEAR she didn't want to help me. I said I have an appointment. She tosses me the gel colors and said pick a color. Then she went in the back. I waited for 10 minutes and she said absolutely nothing to me. I've noticed how she treated other patrons verses how she was treating me. She was clearly ignoring me and giving me gnarly looks all while being nice and friendly to others. I will NEVER go back to a place that treats SOME customers differently than others. IVE NEVER BEEN TREATED LIKE THIS EVER!!

Clean but very basic. Most salons at least have a few people that speak a decent amount of English to be able to understand what I want. I am here repeating myself over and over to get someone to understand simple instructions and I'm still not sure yet if he's getting it. Two other ladies dont understand either. All I said was gel on my nails and regular on my toes. Not many gel color options, no frill nail designs from the 90s. It took him almost 30 mins to get the gel paint off my toes that the last salon snuck on me.

Went in today (June 27, 2019) and asked if they had time to do a full set with gel polish. They asked if I had an appointment and I told them no, but they let me sit anyway. He finished with the client before me and started on me right away. I asked him about the UV Acrylic's and decided I wanted to get that since I had such a great experience with it a few times before (different salon). When he started with the UV acrylic, he didn't go all the way down like I've seen done before, I figured he has his reasons and I didn't address it... He started filing after everything dried when his appointment walked in. I could tell he started rushing on my nails, especially with the way they were left. I have Gel Polish all over my hands, he didn't file any of my nails evenly, they still felt rough after the paint was put on, the paint looks clunky, he tried to wipe off the gel polish with his nail (mind you it was gloved and did not feel good on my cuticle), once he figured out it was only making it worse, he made me put my hand in the UV light and then grabbed the drill and put a heavy duty bit on it to try and REMOVE THE GEL POLISH OFF MY FINGER!!! After the polish was all dry, he grabbed a file and "tried" to smooth them out? why wouldn't that have been done BEFORE the polish was put on. I left after paying and bought my own file to fix the uneven thumbs and straighten some out. I do not think I will be back. I am leaving this review because I chose this salon for the 4stars they had on google... but I did not get 4 star service!
