T Bella Salon in Oak Brook, IL

I've been coming to Li Rosa for close to two years now. I live nearby, and have always found the salon to be comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The staff is extremely friendly, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. As a male I cannot comment on many of the services, but I've been extremely pleased with the haircuts I've received there and find them very reasonable. I went to Great Clips for years before hand, and while obviously cheaper, there was no consistency in the quality of haircuts I received. The extra few dollars is well worth it! The owner, Rose, has cut my hair on multiple occasions and she is a blast -- incredibly outgoing person who definitely puts her heart and soul into the salon. So in summary, if you haven't already, make sure to give this local business a shot!!

It took me years to find a place I felt comfortable in. I serched high and low for someone to do my hair for my wedding. All the other local salons wanted to charge extra "travel fees" to go to the hotel or the prices were just outrageous or they were just plain rude on the phone. Just when I had lost all hope I gave Li Rosa a call. I was greeted with a friendly welcoming voice on the phone. I was concerned about the quality being that the price was SO resonable. Needless to say I made an appointment with Sheri to do a trial bridal do. I had no idea what I wanted to do with it. Sheri gave some great suggestions on a style and I was amazed at how perfect it was. On the day of the wedding, Sheri was on time and ready to go. She not only made my hair that day better than the trial, she also gave suggestive styling for my bridesmaids and did their hair as well. I will continue to go to Li Rosa even though I have to travel from Frankfort to get there. It's well worth it.

I created this account specifically to comment on Desiree. She is awesome. I went to her after seeing somebody with a fantastic cut. I had been looking for a good stylist for a very long time. I went to Desiree and explained to her what I wanted. She actually LISTENED and gave me exactly what I wanted! Like another person who posted a comment, I got SO MANY compliments on my hair after she cut it. I know somebody posted they did not like Desiree. She seems to be more of a contemporary stylist. Chic, but not over-the-top. If you're looking for a simple, conservative cut, she can probably do it, but she seems to excel at current styles that are "in" and what a fantastic job she does.

I have been here a couple of times before and had an average experience. Not great, but okay. Today, after walking out of another salon due to poor service, I thought I would give LiRosa another try. Now, I understand that I walked in a litle before three on a Saturday afternoon, but I expected way better than I got. Their door was wide open, so I assume that means they were still open for business. One customer had foils on her hair and the only apparent employee was finishing a haircut for a young boy who I assume was the son of the lady getting the color. The stylist took the cape off of the young man, turned and saw me waiting at the desk to get her attention, and promptly walked to the back of the salon and sat down. Not a word to me, not "someone will be with you in a minute", not "Can I help you", NOTHING. I stood there for a few minutes expecting that she would eventually approach me and at least tell me they couldn't see me today, but after no acknowledgement AT ALL, I left. I work in a busy doctor's office and I know what it's like to have someone walk in at the end of a busy day, but to not even acknowledge the presence of a customer is inexcusable in my book. I won't be back and I hope no one else gets the same lousy treatment I did.

I had an appointment for a root touch-up with blow dry and style, with a round brush; Had been here before with a different sytlist who missed majority of coloring the 'roots', so I requested a different stylist. Had MARY who did an okay job with the color, however, she could barely hold the blow dryer and hair brush; I was looking for a 'finished look" (I have long hair), instead, I left there with hair that was about to blow-up and fly away!!!! I got home ranting and raving to my poor husband, plugged in the hot iron and finished my hair myself....what a waste of time and $50.00.. I'm telling you, this salon and MARY are a step above the 'chop shops' stay away from this salon and Mary!! I'm so disappointed......
