My husband and I have been going here for over a decade and trust Alberto and his staff. Kaelyn is a master of color. Alberto is an artist who knows how to fix hair problems and create works of art with his hair cuts. You get what you pay for. I wouldn't go anywhere else and when I leave the state I have to come back and get Alberto to fix my hair.
He is extremely good! I left slc and I miss those fabulous hair days! I only wish I could go once again!
Great Guy, no one has been able to do my hair like him. I have curly hair that is very difficult to manage. I used to just cut my hair short, but now I can keep my hair longer and my curls are perfectly controlled. Keep up the good work Alberto
Extremely unprofessional!! I called for a consul for a color change let the receptionist know that I have dreadlocks and if Alberto has worked with dreadlocks and she assured me yes that he has!
I scheduled a Saturday app. Forgoing my plans to leave town for the day to make the appointment.
I made my app. As scheduled as I walked in the receptionist informed me that he didn't work with dreadlocks and was apologetic and that the receptionist that I spoke with was new which in my opinion is fine but the fact that they didn't call me prior to app to tell me or To inform me and To make the situation worse I canceled plans for the weekend to be there .
Alberto didn't take the curtesy to tell me himself nor did they refer me to another colorist extremely unprofessional conduct especially since I have been to him prior before I had dreads 7 years ago and he charged me $600 dollars for color.
This is the first time I have written a review that is how unprofessional I think that this salon and Alberto is!
I LOVE my hair after I've seen Alberto. I love that the products he uses are not toxic and they smell wonderful, that the color is gorgeous (he is really a color artist), and that the cut is fabulous and looks good for months. I have curly hair and he is the only stylist in this town who knew how to cut it, so that it looks beautiful and natural. People are always asking me who does my hair. But the best part of the whole experience is Alberto himself...he is a kind, compassionate, deeply spiritual man, who makes me feel seen and heard and cared about. The staff are friendly and very professional. Its expensive but well worth it. Its always a healing experience to go to Switch Salon.
