Sweet Style O'Mine in Louisville, KY

Words can't describe just how awesome this place is. For me it was like walking into a family member's house to get your hair dyed or cut.
I made an appointment for my bestie because she wanted something "different" for her 21st birthday...color wise. And she walked out of there looking like a million bucks. She went for a bright red on her ends and that's exactly want she got. Her hair didn't feel dry or looked damaged. Her hair did feel soft and bouncy like healthy hair should. I'm so impressed with the color that I plan on going there to get my hair done. I'm so thankful to have met Tiffany. She makes the hair coloring process fun and f*ck.

Tiffany and the salon were recommended to me by a girl who I met randomly; she had the most luscious, beautiful unicorn-colored locks and since my hair was highlighted teal, I had to know where she had them done. She couldn't say enough great things about Tiffany, nor the salon, which won "Best Salon in Kentucky" by Elle Magazine. I was perplexed by this upon entering, where I was greeted by a friendly Tiffany, but a salon in disarray - I disregarded this since she came so highly recommended, and proceeded. Due to approach and technique, I question whether Tiffany listened to me, nor knew what to do with my hair specifically. Instead of foiling it to create a variety of peaks and valleys in the highlight, she pulled all the hair on top of my head to bleach out the ends, leaving me with a bleached halo rather than naturally placed highlights. I questioned this at the time, but didn't speak my concerns; I wish i had. I mentioned multiple times that my other colorist was having difficulty removing previous dark dye, so she should not go above my natural color line; she did not listen to my directive and bleached 2-4 inches above the previous dye line, which made the bleach apply patchily layered (bright teal crown, algae-colored hair, bright teal ends). The teal she placed in was a beautiful shade, but the bleaching placement, was atrocious. I paid $153 (with tip) for my service and wish I had looked at my hair more thoroughly before doing so... I had to have it redone by another salon the next day. Due to the damage caused to my hair and recent bleaching, they were unable to truly fix it. Since the natural hair was so recently bleached, and the dark dye was so deep into my hair, the only thing they could do was break up the bleached halo by adding peaks and valleys to the line, and reapplying teal. I've been growing out my hair for a year now in hopes of eventually bleaching my hair to a pastel teal. Due to how badly my color was done, I will now have to have it redone for a third time to have brunette shades placed back in, effectively making all growth progress null. Perhaps Tiffany was having an off-day, but the experience saddens me greatly, as I was deeply excited to try Sweet Style O'Mine and have been left with an increasingly expensive color mishap that needs multiple rounds of correction.

amazing tiffany is funny and she loves doing hair but the best part is that man her hands are magic she leaves your hair soft and silky : she can fix some major hair destruction I'm like obsesses with this place because she fix my major joker hair lol
