Mayn Salon in Louisville, KY

The salon is beautiful but I've never been to a salon where the stylists were so unfriendly.  My stylist is great but I've never been so much as acknowledged by any other employee, including whoever is in the reception area. Very weird atmosphere.

I was so fortunate to be referred to Leslie by a friend in 2014, and I count this as one of the most fortunate introductions of my life. I am not an easy client, and she takes such excellent care of me! I followed her to Mayn when the salon opened and this place is heaven! You are gleefully greeted upon entry every time and offered a beverage. The decor inside the salon and waiting area are inviting, trendy, and oh-so-cute! The warmth of everyone is unmatched. You can be sure you'll be welcomed by the other stylists with friendly conversation,  and most times all the clients are engaged in a joyful group chat.Every time I am in, whether for just a cut, or a full color treatment, I leave with a big smile, more confidence,  and having had a great time! If you're searching for a new salon home, I recommend you come here.

I freaking love my hair thank you so much. I've gotten so many compliments and my husband keeps looking over telling me how beautiful I am. I really do appreciate the extra effort you put into it to make me look just right. You rock!! There is a reason I've been coming to you for over a decade because you are the best colorist in town. You also do the best dry cut on this curly haired girl.

I've been going to Leslie for nearly 8 years, so when she recently moved to Mayn, of course I was going to follow her.

This salon is SO.DARN.CUTE. Upon entering, you'll see gorgeous decor in the front, along with some Kevin Murphy styling products (which smell amazing). The second room contains hair washing stations...but also...snacks and drinks! I can't help myself from eating handfuls of M&Ms when I get my hair done here, and I definitely take advantage of the canned sodas or brew a cup of tea. The sprayers at the hand washing station are specialized to filter out impurities and anything that could destroy hair color.

The back and final room is also perfectly coordinated with the rest of the salon, with hues of pink, green, and gold in addition to flowers at each of the hair stations.

Prices are reasonable, location is perfect, the atmosphere is quite lovely, and Brandi and Leslie are incredibly talented at what they do. Please do yourself a favor and book an appointment with them!

Brandi Maynard has created a beautiful new salon right in the heart of St. Matthews.  She is an expert with color and manages to make my 43 year old hair look 23 again, every time.  I look forward to my appointment and getting a hair refresh. Brandi is the perfect salon owner that can blend business and fun while putting my hair back in place.
