Supercuts in Roanoke, VA

I went in for a trim. It was a mistake, and I don't know why I didn't walk out. The 3 employees there were rude, barely acknowledging my presence. Finally, the man in back asked what I needed. He said, "Cindy can help you." Cindy begrudgingly got up from her chair to sign me in. I was seated, and I should have left as soon as I got a whiff of Cindy. She smelled like she hadn't bathed in over a week. She barely asked what I wanted done. She didn't dampen my hair. It was an overall unpleasant experience. The haircut was not a good one - but that's the chance you take when going to Supercuts. Just Cindy's unpleasant demeanor and foul odor are enough to keep me from ever going back.

After trying out several Hair Salons of different price ranges, I have chosen Supercuts at Towers Shopping Center and the stylist Maurice as my favorite in Roanoke. Supercuts has an excellent app that allows me to view the times Maurice has available and easily make a reservation for a convenient date and time. The place has plenty of parking and the entrance is right next to the parking lot of the Towers Shopping Center. The place is very modern and clean and has a wonderful ambiance with nice cool air-conditioned modern lobby waiting space. But putting aside all the comforts and conveniences of the place, the secret touch to the perfect haircut is the stylist Maurice. How I found out about him is another story, but a short one. I saw the great job he had done cutting the hair of a friend of mine and asked him who had done it. From then on, I went to Supercuts, asked and for Maurice. I was impressed how well dressed he was for a stylist and with his haircuting instruments all gold-plated. I could tell from the very beginning the pride he has of his work. And the results of my haircut that day was amazing. I've been coming here from that day on. They also have a program that after you get 8 haircuts, you get the 9th one free. But regardless of this I just love the way Maurice cuts hair and would highly recommend him and this Supercuts to all those living or visiting Roanoke and looking for a quality haircut at a reasonable price.

This is my regular place, primarily because it's close to where I live. I would caution customers that the stylists are not required to wear masks, nor are the customers. The stylists are in a very high risk position, as are the customers, due to the close personal contact for an extended time. After a cut by a stylist without a mask today, I will have to look into some other alternatives. I have a friend who was recently in the hospital for seven days due to Covid, so yes it is definitely still around!

Went in for more of a trim than a full haircut. Ended up with one ear covered by hair, the other showing the top of my ear! Also had an odd flip on one side of the back which I pointed out to the hairdresser. She shortened the hair there, but didn't correct the part sticking out! Wont be going there again any time soon!

Brianna cut my hair and did an amazing job she took her time and asked me plenty of questions on how exactly I wanted it done. I will ask for her again!!
