Supercuts in Lahaina, HI

I have been in Maui for an extended period of time and needed a haircut. Dropped in to Supercuts and was able to fit right in between appointments. The young man working was so friendly, humorous, and did a great job following my directions. I have a simple cut but even then some people struggle to follow directions. I was so pleased to get it down right, without having to wait forever and at a good price. I didn't get his name but he told us his dad is a wonderful chef at the Lemongrass restaurant in Kahului- that should narrow it down and give you a tip for dinner

I stopped by on a weekday at 5pm and they were closed. There posted hours online stated that they were open till 7pm. I called twice and no one answered on the phone

Who on earth owns or manages this salon?!  

I live in Lahaina and have been going to this location for years. It's been difficult getting in, getting your phone call answered or even an appointment in person. I've made it work even though it's not been easy.

Now, in the last few weeks it's basically impossible to get service. The online system for reservations has been disabled, forcing you to call to make a reservation. When you call, it just rings...and rings and rings, until you value your sanity and hang up. No one ever picks up the phone. When you arrive to walk in and beg for an appointment, there is one VERY over worked woman. They change out so often you almost never see the same person there the next time you arrive. I imagine it's like a sweat shop that forces them to work until they quit.

Once they acknowledge your presence with clear frustration and building tears in their eyes, they explain there is no availability for the day AND they do not take reservations for the next day or any other day in the future. You are told come back tomorrow and check again.

It's the worst run business I've ever seen. Who the heck owns this joint!?

Very poor. Never have any opening. Walk in and no customers in there but they still say there's a wait for several hours or even several days later. Wtf

7/14/2021:  Due to the unbearable, 99° Fahrenheit, NorCal hot weather, I was seriously melting but, I had no idea how egregiously damaged my hair truly was after returning from Maui on July 2, 2021 . . . My hair was so fried, brittle from playing in the salty ocean despite, putting lavender/olive oil in my hair as an high-heat, weather protection.

Nevertheless, the color of my hair drastically faded from spending almost a month of the Hawaiian Sun's merciless, intense heat exposure bearing down on my black hair; thus, my hair desperately needed an intensive, color rejuvenation and a serious, deep conditioning in order, having my hair looking lustrous, again.  As a result, Yoselin, a Paul Mitchell Graduate, performed the most intensive hair color rejuvenation and deep condition necessary.
