Went to get a fill and the person was a little rough when using the electric file to take off the nail polish and even out the underneath of my nails. When I flinched to take my hand away he said dont worry. Then sliced my pinky finger and ring finger while filing down the sides with the thick emery board. I audibly said ouch that time and took my hand away showing him the cuts. Will not be going back there again.
Anthony did my dip nails and was meticulous with his work. My pedicure was also top notch (another gal did it). I like how organized their colors are and you are not overwhelmed with too many colors- it was just right. Anthony and his wife own the place and it was interesting hearing how they uprooted their lives from the mainland to open this salon during Covid! Crazy! Super nice people and great experience.
Kids mani was just painting their nails, nothing else. The kids pedi was slightly better with foot scrub, lotion massage and painting. They put flowers on my daughter which was very kind. My adult mani was reasonable but not a great job, I had to ask then to clean under my nails and the polish selection was slim. Mostly I wouldn't go back because they don't have mani kits for each person that comes in
I was very disappointed in my experience at Artistic Nail Spa. The salon is out of date and rundown. The pedicure chairs are uncomfortable and can only be adjusted if you use the massage feature. The massage feature is too hard, so I turned it off, only to have the chair return to its upright uncomfortable position. The pedicure itself was ok but I had to pay extra if I wanted my legs massaged. I was most disappointed by the fill. My nails were shortened too much, the acrylic was applied too thick and unevenly, and the gel polish started wearing off in two days. The salon is understaffed and the person doing my fill was constantly pulled away to answer phone calls and help customers who walked in. The experience did not match the high prices I paid.
Hands down this was one of my best nail salon experiences EVER!!!! While on vacation, I treated myself to some much deserved pampering. I was overly surprised at the wonderful treatment I received from Suong/Susan, especially my Deluxe Pedicure. This salon should be called Tantalizing Nail Spa. It was mesmerizing. Thank you.
