Jay was amazing! I have pretty difficult hair that hasn't been cut in years, but she did a beautiful job so quickly! She was so careful and thorough in making sure the cut worked for me. She talked me through her process and gave me lots of recommendations to maintain my hair. Such an amazing experience with wonderful conversation. Based on my experience and her interaction with the other people who came to see her while I was there, she very clearly cares about her clients and wants them to leave happy.
She's amazing apart from the energy I've been horrible of noting down the times I come. I love how she treated me and my type which is thick and a bit corse and long of hair which I'm very picky as it isnt the first hairdresser who deliberately wants to chop it off. I actually also had Jay shave my entire head bald to donate my hair and she did such an amazing job it's growing back evenly and fast! Thank you Jay you're amazing. (Also she will definitely advise you as far as proper color!)
Color expert! Really enjoyed my time here and my hair has new life again. Street parking can be difficult to find, so give yourself time, especially on the weekends. Super quick responses on Facebook.
I'd been planning to pay a visit to this salon after reviewing some of Jay's work on Facebook. I came in and instantly Jay greeted me and made the whole experience comfortable and very exciting. She really makes sure you want your hair the way you want by asking if you'd like it at this length or so, unlike many other hair dressers that wing it. Whole time Jay and I were laughing about some stories we shared and it was a very great time. By the time she was done with my hair it looked so beautiful! I thought I was going to get a pretty hair cut and it turned out to be 10x better than that. This place is truly a gem!
And for reference, I only asked for a hair cut and this one was around $76 incase you were wondering the price range. I'd ask more info in-person if you're planning to visit (which you should!)
