Sunnicutts in Kelso, WA

This place is great. $10.00 for a men's haircut washed b4 rinsed after and styled. I was in and out in 20 mins and I think her name was kindra but very nice. happy atmosphere small local place that know how to treat people

I am new to this area and Sunnicutts is on my way to work, since I didn't need anything elaborate I figured I would give them a shot. I had two interactions with Sunnicutts and neither was positive. I called on a Saturday to make an appointment and the person on the phone was extremely unfriendly and made me feel as if I was inconveniencing her and should not have called. They couldn't fit me in for a 15 minute haircut until the following Tuesday. When I arrived (4 minutes early) no one said hello, no one said welcome, in fact no one spoke to me until I had been there for a good 5 minutes and then it was a very curt "do you have an appointment". When I sat down (20 minutes late) the woman who was supposed to cut my hair also did not seem to think it was necessary to be cordial, to say the least she lacked any customer service basics. She proceeded to wash my hair (which was nice) and give me what she herself said was "the quickest haircut" she had ever done! I have an A line hair cut with lots of layers in the back she did not even touch any of the upper layers or any of the hair around my face; she basically trimmed 1/2 inch of the bottom and left everything else the same. I had to ask her twice to trim my bangs and the layers up front; she was simply lazy and did not want to take the time to do a good job. It was a waste of time and money wrapped in a very rude delivery. I will never go back and would not recommend this establishment to anyone who prefers a good job and friendly service.
