Would not recommend! I had Japanese straight done and my hair was burnt. Paid 300$ for my hair to get burnt, frizzled and damaged. My hair was much better before the treatment!!! I waited 3 days to wash my hair like i was told but I did notice as soon as i got home my hair would get into knots very often. I have had Japanese straight and keratin done at other places and this never happened before

I second Priscilla G's review below. Sounds like Suki gave us the same exact haircut. Lots of layers and a lot of length cut despite my request for a small trim. Hair is fluffy and big on the top with almost no hair on the bottom. It looks as if I have lost hair :( devastated to say the least. I'll have to tie my hair for the next couple of months until it grows back so I can get it recut. My recommendation is to bring her a picture so there is absolute no confusion. I spoke in korean but it somehow still got lost in communication. Thankfully hair grows but wanted to share my experience.

Do not go there . Most horrible service. Obnoxious staff and very disappointed with this salon . Spend your money elsewhere

I didn't want to write a negative review bc I know we're in hard times... but I literally asked for long layers and bangs that curtained into the rest of my hair nicely. It shouldn't have thinned it at all nor cut off so much length. I lost a good three inches of hair I specifically grew out for this hair style.. and the bangs don't curtain in.. Very thin layers at the bottom, and a very fluffy top...my hair looks so thin... When I was explaining what I wanted and showed video and pictures she didn't really seem to study it. As soon as she started cutting I realized she had the wrong idea of the specific hair cut. My hair is super thinned out (and my hair is naturally very thin) overall, I wasn't satisfied. Please listen to the customer and ask detailed questions. It seemed so rushed, and it wasn't what I wanted. I still left a very nice tip, but please be more aware.

One of the safest experiences I've felt during this pandemic. I've been coming to Suki for many years, and I knew that if that they were to re-open during the pandemic, they would give their 100% dedication. I was so impressed when I came here for my perm/haircut that I wanted to share about it. They had so many safety measures throughout: 1) Temperature check to enter 2) Hand sanitizer provided 3) Staff wearing gloves + face shields 4) Plastic dividers between seats 5) Single-use plastic coverings for each chair replaced for each appointment and 6) UV light disinfecting "ovens"/boxes for all equipment. It made me feel safe and comfortable throughout my entire 2-hour appointment there. And outside of the new pandemic-related aspects of my recent appointment here, I always enjoyed getting my haircut and perms here. All of their staff are very skilled and dedicated people. I highly recommend coming to Suki, especially now!
