SUGARED in South Lake Tahoe, CA

The best facial I've ever had, from all the staff, Hawley is amazing if can get in for her, great staff and products, skin glowing!!!!

I unfortunately had a terrible experience, or lack of experience, with Sugared. I really enjoyed my first session with Bella who did an amazing job on my brows and facial. I was texted a few times to move that appointment around which was annoying as I work full time however I worked with their schedule and made it work. I then booked another appointment for my pre-wedding brows and mentioned a few times how this was my wedding appointment. I initially booked the appointment on a Friday. I got another text to move that appointment to a different time and agreed. Then we had to move that appointment all together to the day I leave for my wedding as Sugared is only open Tuesday - Friday. When I arrived for this appointment, I get a text saying how my appointment has been canceled and there is no one else available to help me today. My appointment was at 9am and I received this text at 8:51am. Now I understand people get sick, things come up last minute, but just as we as guests have a 24 hour no cancellation policy in place when booking, I would hope to hold the same respect from the business to not cancel on me 9 minutes before my appointment when there is no one else available to even take me that day. I was offered $10 off my next service, however, I will not be returning. Thank goodness for Kait for sending me recommendations immediately for other spas and business owners that I could reach out to. I appreciated her help! I respect others time but did not feel as if mine was respected here.

When moving to Lake Tahoe after living in areas like New York and San Francisco, I was worried I wouldn't be able to find the same caliber of services in our small mountain town. Boy was I wrong! I got in with Sugared as soon as I moved and noticed my skin was struggling to adjust to the dry climate. I got scheduled with Bella and have learned so much from her about how to care for my skin. I started going in for facials every 3 months with the change of each season per Bella's suggestion and my skin has been looking great. I upgraded from holistic facials to hydrofacials and wow, my skin is literally glowing when I leave. I've also gotten sugaring hair removal done here as well as done brow shaping, tinting and lamination and have been so happy with my service every single time. Today I am going in for a lash tint, lash lift and dermaplaning and I can't wait to see the results, which reminded me I need to leave this awesome spot a review! I've been getting facials since I was a teen and Bella and Sugared is seriously one of the best places I have ever been for these services. Highly highly recommend!

Over the past 2 years I have received lash, brow and sugaring treatments at Sugared and realized I needed to have one of their facials. What a treat I gave myself! First of all the environment itself is relaxing the minute you enter the lobby--pristine and eye appealing decorations complement the sounds and scents all with a "green" focus. As the facial began, it took me seconds to understand I would not be talking and my eyes would gently close as the mulitsensory facial began and my being soaked in this experience--aromatherapy, warmth, coolness, tunes, touch, massage, textures, paces-- all enveloped me in various sequences. My esthetician, Stephanie, created a professional and top notch treatment for me. I know I will return every month for this self love and self care routine. I only hope you do the same. :)

My first time getting my eyebrows laminated and they are beautiful. They have never looked so full and natural! Thank you so much Bella!
