I started as a client at their previous salon. First, I must say that I am very, very particular about my hair. Second, my thick stubborn Asian hair is not so easy to cut nor color because it just resists and fights back. I appreciate the quality of people as well as the quality of the work. The fact that they put the effort in to learn and do more - like a grueling program to become the next level of color specialist means a lot to me. So I must say that I was super happy with all of it before but now.........with the NEW SALON and the commitment to good ecology practices, it's even better. The last thing I want to say is that I continually get compliments on my hair - from a really wide variety of ages/walks of life so I know it's not just a trendy thing. I am SO SO Sad that I had to move away but have already booked my future appts. for later this year when I go back to visit.
John Alexander is one of the most talented hairstylists I've ever met. He can take whatever idea I have and translate it into one incredible haircut. I like my hair super short and somehow he manages to cut and clip it until he achieves a very flattering, feminine look for me.
I was driving down Country Club the other day and said to myself "My hair feels a little drab I need a hair cut." So I happen to see Sublime I pulled into the parking lot hoping they would take a walk in, and sure enough they DID! =) That always makes me happy because I am the type of person who never plans hair appointments. John Alexander cut my hair and styled it just the way I like it. I really didn't have to tell him how I wanted it, it was almost like he just knew! GREAT JOB! Thanks again!
