I travel to this area of west Virginia every few months for work. This particular time I needed a hair cut and decided to give this salon a try. All I read were good reviews so it had to be fine right??? Wrong!!! Arrived at 645, 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment with Scott. No one greeted me. No one even acknowledged me. After about 10 min I was asked to fill out a new client form. Still no hi, how are you. Very cold atmosphere. The form asked for preferred stylist. I wrote Scott cuz that's who I was scheduled with. My confirmation voicemail even said I had an appointment with Scott. After sitting for another 15 minutes I was Informed that Scott would not see me? Why? He was standing right there. It's not my fault he got behind. The girl informed me she could do my hair but she didn't look competent enough to groom my dog. I asked why the couldn't call me to inform me of this since I had left a Christmas party in Huntington to get there. No answer. Then I over heard they were voted best salon!!! Hahahhahaa. How with this horrible customer service? I know a ton of people in this area and I hope word gets out NOT to go here. If customer service is this bad, I'm glad I didn't get my hair cut here!!!
I had a very unfortunate experience after I had my hair colored at this salon. I had the owner call me after I left the salon and conduct himself in a very disrespectful and unprofessional manner. Due to the condition of my hair, he implied that I rejected suggested services to ensure that my hair would not become more damaged and to maintain good condition of my hair. He suggested that I told his stylist how I wanted my hair treated, which was categorically not true. I was not offered any services for this treatment while I was at the salon, nor would I have ever rejected any services if they were recommended. It is unfortunate because I was pleased with the hair coloring that my stylist performed but I would never go back due to the way that I was treated after I paid for my services.
