Studio 5 Salon & Boutique in St Robert, MO

I REALLY wanted to like this salon. I am still "shopping" around for a hair stylist I will fall head over heals with but sadly it hasn't happened... yet, fingers crossed. I had asked for the haircut in the first picture. Choppy bangs, SLIGHT layers, a short bob. I pretty much had a bob and just needed a trim and the bangs. She touched up my highlights which went fine, although I was slightly disappointed when I went to put my hair up and saw some grays that missed the hair dye. The haircut was next and all I know is one moment I went from a bob, then I had bangs, then I had a bowl cut with bangs. There was a lot of internally screaming going on inside. I wish I would have know what she had in mind or I would have stopped her. She lifted most of the top of my hair and just cut across and when it fell it was a bowl shape. The good news? My hair will eventually grow back and I marked one more hair salon off my list.

I went to Kaylee at Bliss and she gave me the most awful highlights; she left me orange and tried to tone out the orange ( unsuccessfully) but turned my blonde ends blue.

I found Felicia at Studio 5 and she did the most amazing job. She exceeded my expectations. I thought it would take several visits to fix my hair; but she did it in 1 visit and at a reasonable price. If you are new to the area or just looking for a new hair dresser, Felicia is a true professional and you can trust her to do great hair.

She's busy, schedule in advance, schedule with confidence.

I went to studio 5 for the first time to get my hair done and it was such a pleasant experience. Felicia is not only super cool but fun to talk to. I explained to her what I wanted done and she totally nailed it! I don't look homeless anymore:) I feel like a women!!!!! And I will definitely be going back there for my next hair cut.

Felicia Pittman is an amazing colorist. It never failed to let her come up with amazing color combos for my hair every month. She is so full of talent with her color and her shears. I am envious of her skills. She always is so kind and has a heart of gold. Definitely my favorite hairstylist and I only will go to her.

I went to Studio 5 once and Leann cut my hair.  She did great for the first time cutting someone new.  I planned on returning.  The shop is nothing fancy - in fact the waiting area is in dire need of new couches.  I had to wait on one that had a hole so big you almost fell through!  The shop could also benefit from a receptionist of some kind. Both times I went I wasn't greeted in any fashion.  

One of my children needed a haircut and I made an appointment again with Leann.  I arrived about 10 minutes before my appointment and Leann wasn't there.  I inquired if she was working today and that I had an appointment after my appointment time had passed plus 5 minutes.  I was told she ran some errands but they thought she had just pulled up.  Another 10 minutes passed and she didn't come into the shop.  The assumption on my part was either she forgot she had an appointment (and the other stylist didn't offer to go get her) or she wasn't interested in making money that day.  Leann can cut hair but the salon environment and the lack of attentiveness to customers leaves quite a bit to be desired.
