Great customer service. They were accommodating to a same day appt and had us in and out within reasonable time. Will definitely return when I'm in town again.

I've been coming here for years and it's always amazing. The women that work there are so nice and are currently taking all COVID precautions seriously. I am fully natural (4b texture) and the woman that did my hair did great. Will be coming back in the near future.

The worst dominican salon EVER! So, the blonde hair, older, fair skinned lady who works in the back near the shampoo room and bathroom, blew my natural hair DEAD. It was so thick. When she finished with me, just like the customer before me and anyone else she touches, she will leave your hair (in long strands) dead and damaged. I left out with long strands broken off all over my shoulders and all over the floor. First time in my life I seen such a thing. The woman before me, it was the same thing. Her hair was broken off all over the floor when I took a seat in her chair. At the very touch, my hair was falling out for WEEKS! All these long years I've been growing my natural hair has been ruined. I smelled my hair burning while under the dryer after sitting for over 1 hour, then she blew dryed my hair until it smelled like my head was in a bonfire. She told me she was spraying heat protectant, but it smelled like she was spraying holding sprits near my scalp and then she kept burning me with the blow dryer. Go somewhere where they care about your hair, or you very well may end up bald just like all of the girls that work there!!!! So sad that I have to go through this over one lady's lack of compassion for customers hair.

Walked in to get a wash and blow which is listed on their price list for $20 and up. I was ask what I wanted and I requested a wash, clip ends and blow. Immediately the woman near the wash room blurts out that they don't do wash and blow. So I said well just wash and clip and I will blow myself when I get home. I waited until I was called in the wash room and discover a handwritten sign on loose leaf paper written in orange marker reading "No Blower Without Rollerset. Management thank you. I was then told that I cannot get my hair clipped without roller set. They stated that because my hair was natural, they couldn't clip it without applying rollers. I was annoyed because if I had known, I would not have dismissed my ride, especially on a Monday. I was so frustrated that I just told them to wash it and I left. They were rude, spoke Spanish and had no customer service. Don't waste your time, go elsewhere!

Okay so this place is hood. But if you have been to a typical Dominican doobie shop then you know what you are in for. I actually prefer one of fair mount avenue for myself, they are cleaner, they speak English and it isn't as hectic. However, this place is closer to my house and they do a better job in my daughter's head. Occasionally I get mine done here as well when I don't feel like driving. That being said, the woman closest to the wash room on the left is the worst. Her skills are so poor that she did my hair and then I went to work, people laughed at me. Everyone in the neighborhood knows that she has no skills, this isn't a news flash. What irritates me is that she is constantly trying to do my hair or my daughters hair and then wants to cop an attitude when you tell her you don't want her to touch your hair. Seriously I've been telling her not to do my hair or my daughters hair for the last five years and she tries Every. Single. Time. This time she decided to talk about me to the woman who washes hair. Instead of running her mouth, she should spend that time learning how to do hair.
