One of the worst haircuts I've ever had. I really liked Clare but have no idea what was going on with this cut. I told her what I wanted and she just kind of did her own thing. the top layers ended up being too short and she even said "oops looks like i got this one side too short"!! YA!!! Now I have to spend the next 6 months camouflaging my lopsided hair cut. Don't understand all the good reviews. Maybe a really bad day!! Went back to my hairstylist in Saline even though it's s longer drive since my move. She's fixing it now but it was really disgusting.
I have been using Claire for years, for both my hair and my children's hair. My adult son continues to use Claire's services. She is wonderful, and her newest salon is a great space and ideal in the new pandemic situation. clean, well spaced and private. Claire is able to do anything from the most basic to the wildest of cut and color.
I have been getting my hair cut by Claire for a few years now and am very happy with her attentiveness! I have thick hair and she does a great job with it. Sprig's hideaway also has a great outdoor area where Claire has been cutting hair during covid.
SO glad that Claire is back and in a very cool space. Had my first outdoor haircut today (and first haircut since February) and it looks and feels great!
I ended up OK with my haircut, but the stylist tried to get me to go through with it without washing my hair--she wanted me to skip the rinse and just have her wet down my hair with a spritz, but I think getting my hair washed is one of the best parts of a haircut. After I disagreed with her suggestion, I didn't really feel comfortable with her anymore. It felt like she was reluctantly washing my hair and doing something that I had been difficult about, and then the haircut was $60 (sorry, I think that's pricey) and I couldn't tuck it behind my ears (the one piece of direction I specifically gave). Instead of agreeing that I'd said that, she wanted to revisit the picture I showed her. When I said the picture didn't matter, that I'd said that the only difference I wanted was to be able to tuck it behind my ears, I just didn't like her response to return to the picture as if that mattered. I won't go back for the price and the awkward interactions, but she's clearly a competent stylist and I got an OK haircut.
