Husband took our grandson to get his hair cut and was pleasantly surprised by how courteous and prompt the lady was. And my grandson got a great haircut!!

Whatever happened to customer service? Part 1 I walked in on a Saturday morning and they were understandably busy. I stood at the front desk and two of the stylists looked towards me, but said nothing. After a few minutes, another stylist comes from the back room, walks up to the desk, looks up at the board and calls the name of the person who was waiting. She was standing two feet from me on the "business" side of the counter, me on the other side, and did not even acknowledge me. Not a glance, nothing. After a couple more minutes, another guy comes in. Finally, one of the stylists sees us and says "sign yourselves in." Honestly, the whole "sign yourself in" business model is a very poor model. What ever happened to customer service, engaging the client, greeting them, signing them in, and making a business connection with them? After standing there five minutes, ignored and finally told to sign myself in, I decided to go where the customer is appreciated. WORST HAIRCUT EVER! I brought my 11 year old here, and he ended up with the worst haircut of his life. He was actually in the chair for a FULL HOUR. First, he had a rookie employee completely destroyed his hair, then she called me over to ask how it looked. When I started to point out the problems, an older employee came over and started to make excuses, and took over the haircut. She told me that the first employee was new, but that it was illegal for her to have told me that when the haircut started. WHAT? She can't say anything at the start, but she can tell me once my sons hair is ruined? Lie! She then proceeded to yank my son's head from side-to-side (she was clearly annoyed by the whole situation, and was taking it out on my 11-year-old) while she tried to fix the mess that they had made. Eventually, I said - let's just move on - this isn't getting better. AVOID this place.

Went in as a first-time client. Desolate when I walked in. Vanessa took me in right away and gave me the MVP treatment for the price of a regular haircut since it was my first time there. She was nice, but, the service was as lackluster and unremarkable as any cheap hair salon. The hot steam towel lasted all of 2 minutes, the neck and back massage was pitifully brief and not all that relaxing, and the hair wash was performed with lukewarm water. The haircut was pretty much what I asked for but the extra stuff is all fluff and gimmicky. I MIGHT return for just a haircut, but the MVP treatment is a waste of time and money.

Called to ask for a manager, Vanessa answered saying "I can help you." I asked her if she's the manager, she's not. Well okay, then you can't help me. Asked for the name of a manager, said they're in the middle of a "transition." OK still not what I'm looking for, finally she decided to tell me who the assistant manager is... like really?!? I'm better off just calling corporate instead.
