Sport Clips Haircuts of Smyrna in Smyrna, TN

I have gone to this Sport Clips since it opened and have usually had a good experience. On Friday, 11/11, I went to Sport Clips and signed in as usual and chose my stylist. She was busy with another client so I waited. He was pretty picky and took a little longer than was suggested on the sign in screen. I waited patiently for a long while without complaint. After she finished cleaning up her area, I assumed I would be next. Instead, the stylist walked past me and out the door without explanation. The manager came to me in time and told me it was the stylist's lunch break and I could wait another thirty minutes or have someone else cut my hair. I had chosen this stylist for a reason and had been there for a long time already, so I left and went somewhere else.

I would give this place negative stars if it were possible. The front counter 'lady' was beyond rude, insulting and disrespectful. Upon my lodging a complaint via their corporate website, the store manager sends me an email basically tried to blame me (for being a white male veteran) for the counter persons attitude (she being black). She yelled and was very disrespectful. I would never go back to this location. I can understand if she was having a bad day but to then try to play the race card to get out of the consequences of her behavior is just plain nasty and to then have the location manager play along with that, against a wounded veteran, is just beyond the pale. So disappointed

My wife usually cuts my hair at home with clippers (prefer cut short) so it's easy and cheap. But as she was out of state for month or so I was feeling shaggy. So did on line appointment at Sport Clips and 30 min later I was called in. You have to wait outside until they are ready. Erica did a great job of cutting my hair around the mask. They have perfected the Covid-19 procedures in place so I never felt unsafe. Much appreciation to Erica and I recommend her very much.

We used to go to this lady on south Lowery street by golds gym and Roma's pizza for a little over a year get our kids hair cut. The lady was never busy and I'm surprised her business stayed open. Seeing as my sons hair was always the same it was easy to make it as we wanted. Well the last time we went (no need for details) she cut his hair to somehow have bangs right across his forehead (he has a long surfer kid type hair cut with NO bangs ever. So figured about 5 previous hair cuts it was a mistake and moved on to another place after his hair grew back. We stopped in here and they did an amazing job. We usually try to avoid franchise business but they did a hella good job and I'll definitely be back.

I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Talented group. Most are always friendly... except the manager Alex.  She's always in a bad mood and needs classes in customer service.
